LP were only the worst versions of themselves when they were APART, and only completely happy when they were TOGETHER. 	jemgrl323 picked 2/1* I hate them/can't stand their scenes.: I guess everyone sees things differently and that contributes to your decision whether you are a fan of them or not... cause I kinda agree with katie15. I really think Lucas brought out the worst in Peyton. I don't know if Peyton brought out the worst in Lucas, but it happens to be that I think season 4 and 6 were the worst seasons for Lucas as a character. I think he acts pretty OOC and boring in those seasons... but to be honest, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with Peyton. But that's not really the reason I don't like them... cause I've tried liking them (it would have made watching seasons 4-6 much more enjoyable), I just don't see anything appealing about them. It's funny how people have such extreme opinions about Leyton and Brucas... most people either love them and have them as their OTP or hate them and have them as their least favorite couple... very few people in between (and I'm including myself in that). 	kellyerin87 picked 10* I absolutey adore them,they are my OTP.: I just don't see how them being "selfish" with each other, and completely consumed in each other (which I really don't even think they were) makes them the worst versions of themselves. In my opinion, that's a good quality in a relationship. Loving someone so much that nothing else seems to matter... aka being "selfish" in your relationship, only proves how strong your feelings are for each other. I think being the worst version of yourself would mean that you're unhappy, unpleasant, in need of improvement, your actions have a negative impact on other people, and you're just all around not yourself. Which defines LP whenever they AREN'T together. But they brought out complete happiness, and stability in each other whenever they were a couple... being together only brought out the BEST in each other. I believe that they brought the worst out of each other. Peyton cheated with Lucas betrayed her best friend, didn't care who else got in her way (Lindsay) and Lucas became a dick who couldn't make up his mind over who he actually loved. Apart, I thought they were pretty good characters. S2 and the beginning of S3 showed what a great character Peyton was- I empathised with her when her mother died but then she turned into a bitch. I mean who decides they 'love' someone in a dream and then goes and tells the person they are in love with's girlfriend who happens to be your best friend?! I agree with what someone said, they were too self absorbed to care about other people's feelings but their own. Also, though I agree that sometimes being selfish proves the love someone has for someone else, I also think there's a limit and Leyton went over that limit. posted il y a plus d’un an.
