in general...many couples on sitcoms have better relationships than couples on other shows- a big part because the sitcoms aren't surrounded by crazy drama like other shows and they are supposed to be funnier and have more light-hearted storyl ines.

monica and chandler are one of my favorite couples....and the reason i find them so unique is not just because they barely have drama and have a great and healthy relationship....but because they are also sooo adorable and funny and have such great chemistry. they can be the focus of so many episodes, and yet the story lines never get boring. many sitcom couples that are in "healthy" relationships tend to be slightly boring or they tend to be the happily married parents that do not appear for long in every episode and are not the main focus of the show.

totally, i agree with sophialover, most couples who stay together for a long period of time get dull but monica and chandler never lost their spark
