Tsunami and earthquakes in Japon Question

i hope all of toi heard about the earthquake in japan. they a dit ppl were injured which i dnt kno how because its water. i kno that ppl had drowned but wat are possible ways they couldve been injured?

i feel so bad for them i really wanna help. they even a dit that 1000 people were missing:( we here on fanpop should come together to figure out a way to support them. do u guys have any Friends in Japon that survived this?

Yes because the water is traveling at such a high speed and the wave is so big it can push people down,hurt them because of the pressure it puts onto them and of course it can drown them.
