"Oh god," groaned Luca Edgewood. He glanced at his watch,. It was already past 8am. He dropped his skateboard, got on it, and rode away down the busy streets of Brunswick.

"Be careful today!" His mother shouted at him through the screen door, but he was to far to hear her warning. Lucas's mom was very suoerstitious woman who believed in witches, ghosts other Supernatural creatures. Luca thought all of this happened when his dad left.

Luca pushed back hard as he could with his right foot. He was already late. With all of his focus, he was barely able to dodge pedestrians, seeding cars, and occasionally,...

The an is 1850. My name is Ashley Garland; I live in the small town of Crystal Falls, on the west coast of the United States. At the moment, I am being hunted, par what I do not currently know. All I know at present about my foe is that I fear for my life. In fact this whole ordeal has been about a week in the making. About a week ago, the people of Crystal Falls were gathered in the town hall, when a man suddenly began pounding on the door, pleading for help. After some of the citizens finally...

This song is for everyone out there who is having a bad day!

What are toi waiting for?
You stare at the four walls of this empty room,
Occassionally looking towards the door.
Mama is crying in the living room,
And Daddy left again.
You just got off the phone,
In a big fight with your "so-called" best friend.
And you're thinking to yourself,
"I hate my life." And then toi sigh.
Just curl up, put your hands around your knees
And cry...
Spread your wings and just take flight.
In the darkness, toi need to find your light.
You were born with wings,
Don't let people hold toi back
From doing great things
You were...

"What happened?" I questioned myself as I got up. I was in my bed; how did I get there? I looked around my small bedroom. The house was scilent, the usual voices of my mother making breakfast was not there. There was no smell of crêpes ou coffee as the usual breakfast was.

I looked across my lit to the stand with my alarm clock. 5 o'clock in the morning."Odd they should be up par now" I wondered.

There was a bang downstairs, like the car grauge door." What are they doing?"I asked myself. I stretched as I headed downstairs to the kitchen. As I krept down further there was plus noises coming...

The sun is just minutes from rising and the night is growing lighter. An alter made entirely of blue marble, jade, and amethyst is illuminated. Two tiny bébés lie on haut, retour au début writhing and screaming in discomfort. They are naked, only a few days old and the chill of the stone slowly seeping into their Bones will surely kill them. The larger of the two will not stop screaming while her twin just sobs quietly.
Their frail mother stands a few feet away determined to finish what she came here to do but her eyes are bloodshot and red raw from her constant tears. But she is not alone. Her husband...

V The Bedroom
When Ember finally found a bedroom it was well worth the wait. A gorgeous raised four poster filled the centre of the room. The hangings were made up of crimson and indigo velvet square patches and the wood was jet black with intricate carvings of dragons, princesses and magical palaces climbing up and down the posts. The bedclothes were of dusky rose silk and embroidered with beautiful jewels of the most wonderful colours imaginable. Reds and purples green and blues, they shone and sparkled dazzling in splendour.
The walls were hung with beautiful portraits, satin scarfs and tapestries...

"I'm not small, I'm as tall as toi James!!!" I scowled.

James is the only one who also feels the same way I do about this dirty, loud school. He has dirty blonde hair(darker than mine) and smoulder golden eyes. He is a bit lanky but is very athletic, his long legs help him with his hard core track. He is probably the only person I can act naturally around. Especially when there is no Nick making me totally self conscience.

"Your smaller than Mr. Bova." He stated as he droped the book he had in his hands from his face.

"By height ou par wieght?." I snickered at him. My musique teacher is obese, very...

IV The Bathroom
Ember had been wandering aimlessly around the endless corridors and baffling twists and turns when she saw how dark it was getting outside. She would have checked her watch if she had one, but she didn’t so she hazarded a guess at it being about 10, 11 o’clock. She was exhausted and needed to find somewhere to sleep.
But first she wanted to take a shower. She hadn’t washed since she arrived at the mansion and it showed. Her soft skin which was normally a delicate pale porcelaine was now covered with a light layer of grime.
She had changed a lot since the fire. Her hair which...

It was summertime; I was forced to go on fthe family vacation to London. I wanted to stay accueil and quietly work on my novel. My Aunt Tracey, however, persuaded me into going.

I had the pleasure of riding with my cousin, Louis, and her five hcildren. Two of her kids were barely on. Imagine my joy once I found out the arrangements.

musique is the only class I have with him. The longest class.

"Nick play that part of the excersice again." told our band teacher Mr. Bova.

No one argues with Mr. Bova, we all think he's scary.

"Why do I even stay in this class?" I sometimes ask myself. The fear of being yelled at? The fact that I loved playing the flute? ou Nick.... no I moved on! ou at lest I tell myself I did. I don't know what it is, his poping messy, curly blond hair, even plus sunkissed than mine. ou the way he smiled to himself, his perfect smirk. I don't why I ever crushed on him.

III The Library
The suivant room Ember visited was to her a Heaven on Earth. An enormous room just for holding books! The ceiling was so high it would have taken ten of her standing on haut, retour au début of one another the reach it. The shelves and shelves of livres were piled right up to the haut, retour au début and there were several ladders placed conveniently so that she could reach the topmost books.
Ember walked round the room as though she were in a dream. She loved lire and devoured every book she found but she had never had a whole bibliothèque full of them to herself. She barely knew where to start. Every square inch of...

Okay, I will admit that I was in l’amour with Destiny Malone. I will even admit that one of my favori hobbies was to watch her. I am not a creepier. I just thought that she was really beautiful. The problem was that I was a jock and she was a loner. There are two completely different social groups and social groups do not mix with other social groups no matter how gorgeous toi are.

But her death was a shock to me. It shocked everyone in town.

Destiny was sweet to everyone and was fair. Her death only shows how cruel the world is. She drowned in the lake with her hands tied behind her back.

II The Kitchen.

Unsure where to go Ember dithered in the corridor outside the nursery for almost ten minutes the suivant morning. But soon the delicious smell of apples and cinnamon reached her nose.
She followed the scent until she reached a large old fashioned kitchen. An old, wooden table, worn and scrubbed filled the middle of the room. It was the biggest cuisine Ember had ever saw. One side of the room was simply all cupboards and drawers of all different shapes and coloured. Ember’s curiosity burned but she was distracted par a large woman wearing an apron. She was taking a steaming apple...

I. The Nursery

Ember lived in her nursery for the suivant few months, only being let out occasionally to go to the toilet. All she saw were the four walls around her but it wasn’t all bad.
The room was painted a pretty sky-blue and the carpet was thick, fluffy and a deep midnight blue. There was a lit and a huge white wardrobe with the most beautiful, démodé, old-fashioned clothes inside.
Rich velvets cloaks, soft fourrure stoles, bright silk dresses, every item of clothing needed to make a young lady of society look beautiful.
But Ember was not a young lady of society living in Victorian times. She was a...

But she was in no state to tell. She suffered mild burns but her mind suffered worst of all. She never spoke again.
She was kept in hospital for six months but eventually she was packed off to her uncle Scipio. She was thirteen years old and many a dit it was a crime sending a child off to such an evil man as Scipio....

Gerald wrinkled his nose at the earthy, mossy smell that always filled the woods. He longed to get back to his palace, but there was work to be done, and a king must do his work, after all.
“Hurry up!” he shouted at the coal black chevaux dragging the carriage. They bolted and took off.
Gerald leaned back against the soft, silky back of the siège and watched the trees blur by.
How grateful he was that he didn’t live out here, with all the faerie and elves and goblins. No, goblins lived in the marshes, didn’t they? But the faerie-folk, elves…still out here. He could feel them watching...
