Chapter Seven: I Could Never Trust You
"Oh my god," a dit Courtney, my story had left her speechless which was quite an accomplishment I my book. Courtney, Raven, Darrell and I were all seated in the school's library. It was a couple of hours after the break in. They cancelled the rest of the classes for the day. Darrell and I had found the rest of the school huddled together in the backyard. Several teachers were desperately trying to keep the students from reacting while searching the building for any enemies. I wanted to tell the staff but Darrell was against it. He instead let me tell Mrs. Sanders I stead. She acted instantly and had the bad guys shipped away to jail. Government jail. Government jail made a criminal wish he was sent to Alcatraz if it was still existent.
I side glanced at Darrell but he was off in space. I worry about him sometimes. "What did they look like?" asked Raven. "I memorized most of the wanted criminals features. If toi tell me their appearance then maybe I could identify them."
"Well one had slick black hair and a stern jaw. He had lopsided teeth and he had a mustache on his upper lip," I said.
"The other guy had blonde hair, grey eyes, and he had an eye patch on. He had an aftershave. Does that help?" Darrell was now paying attention to the conversation.
Raven had an intense stare before she answered. "The black haired man works for Dr. Hyde. I saw him on a wanted poster and we studied Dr. Hyde last year. I don't know anything about the other guy."
"Lets look him up," sad Courtney. I hadn't realized she was staring at Darrell into she a dit something. It wasn't a friendly stare. "I'm sure we could find loads of info on this guy. He could be tied to the disappearance of your dad."
All four of us got on one computer. Courtney was plus of the computer expert. She typed in his name and hundreds of government haut, retour au début secret files came up. If we clicked on them, then the government would surely try and hunt us down. This was haut, retour au début secret informations and was not meant for a bunch of teenagers to read and gawk at. She had to first hack into secret government files. That part bothered me a bit but I if was going to get down to the bottom of my father's disappearance then I would have to do some things that I wouldn't like.
There were several classified files on him once Courtney broke through the security. One file a dit that Dr. Hyde was an explorer who went to rejoindre illegal. He tried to blow the moon up. If it wasn't for the extraordinary help of one of the many CIA members then he probably would have gotten away with his scheme.
"It says he is currently residing in Provo, Utah." We all stared at the screen. "Should we go?" Courtney questioned all of us.
"Completely," I answered.
A young man with black hair and daring honey brown eyes approached us. He had dimpled cheeks and freckles. "I couldn't help but overhearing but I was wondering if I could accompany toi on your journey."
We all shared a look. Could we trust him? Could we trust anyone?

Now that toi left me....
My soul is crying
Out to the world
Above me.
Now that toi left me....
I couldn't figure out
How to go on with life
And I stayed right on....
With my despair.
Now that toi left me....
toi broke my heart,
And now it's covered in broken glass,
Oh broken glass......
It's time to déplacer on now...
But I can't help feeling the tragedy
Of that lonesome night...
How the world jeered at me.
The world hurt me.
There's no plus hope left,
So face the truth.
I am a piece of broken glass,
Shimmering in the dark and dreary night
My cœur, coeur broke
When it felt like the end of the world...
And boy, was it the end of the world.
I was broken glass,
And nobody seemed to care about me.
I am broken glass.
I am heartbroken.
I am...
No more.
My soul is crying
Out to the world
Above me.
