What is Alan Ball Doing? (Book Spoilers, Kind of)

Ok, let me start out par saying,"YES I KNOW IT IS A TV Show!" Now that is out of the way, I am not sure why Alan Ball is taking so many liberties with the source material. The livres are first person, so I understand the need to change them to facilate a ansamble cast. However, I do not understand the need to change so much of the source material. They have changed the global, ensemble personalities of the characters as well as the actually storylines of the books.

Once again, yes I realize this is a tv show. Let us look first at the global, ensemble plots...

ok so we all know that eric Lost his memories,but did sookie loss her memories too??

i mean the last time sookie saw bill (before she went to fairy land for a year) she just fond out bill real motives that the only reason he went aftre in the beging is to bring her to his Queen so she can drain her to death,she learned that he SET HER UP he chamred a couple of people to BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OF HER tricked her to drink his blood and manupluited her to fall in l’amour with him,lied to her many many times,cheated on her,kept a secret fill on her,don't forget he drunk her blood to the point of death...

True Blood: The Stand Out Episode

Every TV series has that one episode that everyone remembers, that provides mass débats and discussion and that is the authoritative commentary on what the montrer is about. For True Blood, I think that episode is 2-9 ‘I Will Rise Up.’

What a fantastic episode! I honestly think this the definitive, game-changing episode of the season and possibly the series. There is just so much to say about this episode – the storylines, the cinematography, the characters and the wider implications for the vampire/human world.

OK, while I obviously understand that TV is fiction and purely a method of entertainment,...

Blood Bath: Ultimate Vampire Face-Off!

Since True Blood is returning to HBO this Sunday for its seconde season at 9PM, we have vampires on our minds!

We started to wonder...what would happen if some of the most known vampires from both TV and film faced off against one another in a battle? Who would emerge victorious? That's for toi to decide! Help us out par voting in our Ultimate Vampire Face-Off!

Round 1 begins Friday (6/12) and will end Saturday at 2PM PST. There will be a new round everyday this weekend until a winner is declared Tuesday, so check back to add your vote for each round!

My TRUE BLOOD Experience

I can not get enough TRUE BLOOD. While perusing HBO OnDemand one night in July, I noticed a new choice labeled "BloodCopy". Not knowing what it was I chose this selection. There was a liste of "BloodCopy Reports" so I chose "BloodCopry rapporter 01". When this strange and unusual montrer was over, there was a promo ad for "TRUE BLOOD". This made me curious, so I looked it up on hbo.com. The website told that "TRUE BLOOD" was a new montrer coming up on HBO in September.
