This is Rosalba, Gwen's cousin. This is her POV. The last one was Gwen's, if toi were paying attention. Rosalba means white rose in Italian.

I was at my friend’s door, preparing to say goodbye.
“How am I supposed to tell her? She’s my best friend, and she’ll be completely heartbroken that I’m leaving,” I thought. “Okay, let me try this again…” She cleared her throat and began to speak. “Emmy, toi know you’re my best friend, right? So you’re the first person I come to when I hear about a family crisis, like when my grandpa died? I came to you…” I groaned and slapped myself on the forehead, leaving a red palm-shaped mark. “I’m never going to get it right,” I moaned.
Suddenly, to my surprise, the front door opened. It was Emmy, with her goofy old smile on her freckled face.
“Hold on, a minute, I didn’t-” I began.
“Knock?” she guessed, that wide grin growing even bigger. I used tease her for “reading my mind” like that. “I could hear toi dissing yourself from up in my room! What’s up?” That big smile of hers made it harder for me to keep my tears back.
“Um…I need to talk to you…” I replied back in my sad tone.
“Ooh, that look on your face says it’s pretty serious,” she said, putting a confused look on her face. “Let’s go up to my room.” She took my arm and led me up the stairs.
We stopped at her door; the sign said:
“This room is a place for all weirdoes to enjoy. I hope toi appreciate the oddities that I hold within.”
Around the motto, I saw my signature intertwined with hers. Under that, it said:
“My best friend and I sure do. ♥”
It made it even harder to keep from crying.
She opened the door and sat down in one of her bean-bag-chairs, while I sat down in the other. I couldn’t take it anymore. Before she even had the chance to ask what was up, I burst out crying. Her eyes widened and she rushed over to me. “Oh my god! What happened, Rose?” she questioned, as I wept into her shoulder.
I looked her in the eyes and sniffled. The eyes I would most likely never be able to see again. Those pretty, crystal green eyes that I believed were the eyes of my guardian angel; my soul sister; my best friend that had helped me get through the toughest things in life.
I had to tell her.
“Emmy...you know that my parents are in that fight about who gets custody of me?” I managed to choke out.
“Yeah?” She looked like she was near tears herself.
“Well, while they work on that, my mother is sending me to my cousin’s house to stay there until they come to a result.”
“Is there a definite amount of time you’ll be there?” she asked, getting a bit pale in the face.
“No…and my parents also told me that no matter who gets me, I’m going to…have to…” I choked back tears and whispered the dreaded word: “move.”
She had the same shocked expression as I did when I learned the news myself. She hugged me tightly and we both cried our eyes out that night. We made a pact that no matter what happens, we’d stay in contact. But from where I stood, I knew that it would never be the same.
