Sucker coup de poing is a British film unlike any other in that is not a costume drama, not a rom com with a token American étoile, star and most definitely not a gangster movie. No, Sucker coup de poing is quite simply a no nonsense action comedy that delivers on both fronts but on what seems like a very low budget. Although not the type of film I'd see through to the end after the first twenty minutes of boredom, I stuck with it enthused and with anticipation at the fact that tom Hardy was in it and that he was going to appear at any moment!
