Innocence and ignorance,
they both go hand in hand.
it seems the less you know,
the more you'll understand.
maybe not about school lessons,
but more about life lessons.

the lessons we learn,
though out this life,
it helps us in our daily strife.

a lesson learned,
speak outta' turn.
for what you beleive,
and never leave.

"Trapped between the devil and the angel that i used to be"
this line matchs perfectly.
it sums up the theme i think
"nothing happens unless 1st a dream"
so i've heard...

and i've also been told,
these rights we have...
that they are worth dying for.
what rights?

they've taken' away...
my right to bare arms.
so what do i fight with?
when they pull a switch?
bare palms?

and what about
my freedom of speech?
more like a freeless of speech,

no one to teach...
these young kids the truth.
willing to learn,
willing to burn
these lies into their heads...

men have fought,
men have died.
we have taught,
we have tried...
to bend these minds,
to mold their kinds.

but i refuse to yeild to lies,
i have heard the children's crys.
they want the truth,
well here it is.
we have no rights.
they lie.
they've tried
to bend me to there ways,
but i refuse to sway.
