First off, Welcome to the link. If toi are planning to rejoindre this story, toi will first be required to read the following as it shall hopefully clear up a few things.

This story is a Fiction tale based on known History of the Third Crusade. Though it is labeled as fiction, every writer must treat this story as though it were real. Characters will die throughout, and your job will be to keep the spark alive. Each death is intended to add further feu to this story, depicting trauma and loss amongst those who survive. When one of your character is killed off, toi then have the responsibility to put even plus into the remaining lives toi control.

There will be two parts to this story, the first being The Reclamation;

Part 1 will focus on the Crusaders reclaiming the territories they Lost since Jerusalem was taken back par the Sultans(Arabic Muslims). Saladin is the reigning General and monarch of the Sultan Army, he is Wise and Cunning, yet Honorable. At the start, Saladin controls Acre, the massive City/Fortress on the Coast of Israel. Once the city is retaken, King Richard the Lionheart will lead the Crusaders on to further victories, finally arriving at Jaffa, another city along the coast. Once the siege of Jaffa begins, the Reclamation will turn into the seconde part of the story; Crimson Sands.

Part II describes how the morale of the Crusading Army begins to fade, the once great momentum withering as they struggle on to Jerusalem. The Sultan army then will begin to Counter attack and cut the Crusaders to pieces. With all hope lost, Richard sets to return to England. With this last note, it shall lead to our Climax, which can only be revealed as of yet if toi are truly attempting to rejoindre the story.


Another item to mention, this story will be told in chapters, each one depicting the lives of different individuals along a donné storyline.

1.) Name
Your character's first name means little, and is only important for being referred to. What has power is one's surname. Noble Families during these times had powerful names, names that were feared, respected, and even held Royal title. If toi want your character to be of Noble birth it is required that toi do the research to find a name that was of the same setting as your character's nationality. If toi need assistance, I'd be plus than willing to help.

2.)Age
This one doesn't matter all that much, but let's just keep it between 18 and 55 for History's sake.

3.)Nationality
Your Character's host country, this aspect relates to which army toi shall be placed under, whom your character might meet, and even if your character is eventually killed. Message me if toi have any questions

4.)Army
toi can either be under Emperor Fredrick Barbossa(Holy Roman Empire), King Philip Augustus(French Royal Army), King Richard The Lionheart(English Royal Army), ou Saladin Sultanate(Sultan Army).

5.)Title
Your Character's titre pertains to his status; which could mean either military rank, Court holding, ou Elite order. (Message if Sultan)

~Military ranks; Recruit, Militiaman, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain(Referred to as "Lord")
~Elite Order; Templar, Hospitaller, ou Tuetonic

6.)Role
Your character's role involves what the person does in the Army; Man-at-Arms(Cavalryman), Cook, Squire, Commander, Infantryman, Knight, Field Surgeon, Archer, Siege Engineer, Pikeman (Or Defensive Spearman), etc...

7.)Appearance
Quite simple, merely describe what he/she looks like.

8.)Equipment
Be sure to include everything your character would carry on his person on a jour to jour basis in war. Do keep in mind, your character is only human, thus be reasonable, please.

9.)Family
Create your family as toi see fit, whom toi are married to, siblings, etc... Do be detailed if your character is of Noble birth.

10.)
Lastly, your character summary, I'll allow toi to write this as toi see fit.
