Episode 45: Larissa And The Trouble With Trees
Narrator: Uh, never mind. It's here.
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: Sean was working very hard pulling his passenger trains. His silver paint was now covered in dirt, and grime.
Sean: *In Bellette station, looking at his reflection on a window in the station* This is not good. I better clean myself as soon as I can.
Later at the train yard
Worker: We can't get toi cleaned up Sean. There's a problem with the tracks at the wash down. After they're repaired, toi can get cleaned up.
Sean: That might take too long. Now the others will make fun of my appearance.
Narrator: But the engines were too busy arguing to notice Sean. Larissa was visiting from the Eastwood & Mossberg Railway, talking louder than any other engine.
Larissa: I am getting a new manteau of paint. Ms. Scarlett says I deserve it, because I'm the most important engine ever.
Andrew: Not true! We're all important.
Jerry: *Whispers to Sean* it's been like this all day. larissa will not stop talking about her new manteau of paint.
Sean: *Whispers back to Jerry* if anyone should get a new coat, it should be me. look how filthy i am.
Larissa: I'd rather not!
Sean: Wha-
Audience: *Laughing*
Sean: How did toi hear us?
Larissa: My hearing is as good as a turtle's.
Carter: Turtles have bad hearing.
Audience: *Laughing*
Larissa: I meant to say that my hearing was as good as an elephants.
Carter: Sure toi did.

Larissa: *To Sean* Anyways, you're not a pleasant sight, and wouldn't understand the needs of a smart, and beautiful engine like myself.
Sean: *Annoyed* I'm going to pretend toi didn't say that.
Audience: *Quietly laughing*
Narrator: The suivant day, Larissa was being repainted on a siding par Angler Station. When she was being repainted, Alinah had an accident.
Alinah: *Spots a section of track without any spikes holding down the rails. She goes off the track, and is between the rails*
Larissa: If toi can't pull trains properly Alinah, why not talk to a arbre instead? toi know how much toi like their leaves changing color this time of year.
Alinah: As a matter of fact, Ms. Scarlett has warned us about trees that are too close to the line. She's worried they might fall down on the track.
Larissa: Ha! If I saw a arbre blocking my path, I'd déplacer it out of the way with no difficulty.
Alinah: Really? Last time I heard, toi were struggling to pull a train that was lighter then a tree.
Larissa: *Blushes*
Audience: *Laughing*
Larissa: toi know toi can't believe rumors.
Alinah: It's not a rumor. Someone filmed toi slipping, and put it on toi tube. Your wheels slipped so fast that toi created sparks.
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: The suivant day, Larissa was heading to Impala Station to pull an express when she stopped between Jazlin and Mily. They were both working on cutting down the trees to prevent them from falling onto the track.
Larissa: Make way for an important engine.
Jazlin: toi wouldn't feel important if one of these trees hit you. You'd feel hurt.
Larissa: I'm a lady. It wouldn't dare hit me.
Jazlin: When it falls down, there's nothing toi can do about it! You're not a superhero with powers to make things stop falling.
Audience: *Laughing*
Mily: toi should be careful Larissa. Trees can be just as powerful as us.
Larissa: Oh please. Now excuse me, Ms. Scarlett needs me to pull a special express. *Puffs away*
Narrator: But things changed.
Larrisa: *Backs down onto her express*
Ms. Scarlett: The express is being taken par Danielle. Mr. Baldwin needs toi to pull a train from Weaver Station to the harbor. It's heavy, so be careful.
Larissa: But I just got repainted. Can't someone with less importance do it?
Audience: *Laughing*
Ms. Scarlett: toi have no choice. Go to Weaver, pull the freight, and don't argue with me again.
Narrator: So Larissa did what she was told. It's a shame though, she's going to ruin her lovely paintwork.
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: par the time she arrived at Weaver, she saw fifteen boxcars waiting for her to pull them.
Larissa: *Couples up to the train, and looks at the sky* Looks like it might rain soon. I hope not. *Pulls her train*
Narrator: But it did.
Larissa: *Sees the rain falling* Oh, I don't like it when I'm wrong!
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: Larissa was halfway to her destination when things started to get worse for her. The rain had made the rails slippery. Ahead of Larissa were two trees, one on each side of the track. The arbre on the right side of the track fell down, and blocked Larissa's line. The wind started to turn around the other way, and was threatening to blow the other arbre onto the track.
Larissa: *Sees the arbre blocking her track, and applies her brakes. She's inches away from hitting the tree* Oh no! *Looks at the other tree* This wind is awfully strong. It might blow this arbre right onto me. I must go back. *Her wheels slip on the wet rails, and they spin really fast. She moans in pain as she pushes harder*
Narrator: Don't toi know any better then that? You'll make things worse if your wheels slip fast like that.
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: Ah, never mind. Let her hurt herself.
Audience: *Laughing*
Larissa: *Hears a horn, and stops trying to déplacer her train backwards* Who's that?
Sean: It's me. I'm here to help! *Stops behind Larissa*
Narrator: Now Larissa was worried Sean would laugh at her, but he didn't. He knew this situation was serious, and quickly coupled up to Larissa's train*
Sean: *Blows his horn twice* I'm ready.
Larissa: So am I. As ready as I'll ever be.
Sean: *Pulls the train backwards*
Narrator: They were just in time.
Larrisa: *Pushes her train backwards, and watches the arbre fall on the track. It almost hits her*
Narrator: They took an alternate route to the harbor. There, Larissa spoke to Sean.
Larissa: *Refueling suivant to Sean* I'm sorry about what I a dit two days ago.
Sean: Don't worry about it. I'm just glad you're safe.
Larissa: But toi know what? We forgot something.
Sean: What?
Larissa: This episode had no music!
Audience: *Laughing*
Sean: Ah, we don't always need music.
Victoria: *Stops in front of them* Our controllers want to congratulate toi two on a job well done. Sean, tonight is the night toi can get washed, and repainted.
Sean: *Smiles*
Victoria: Larissa, your controller says toi can pull the express tomorrow.
