BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!Goes the door as it shakes to life.Roxy tosses in her sleep,covering her shivering body with the flimsy piece of cloth her 'mother' called a blanket."Wake up girl!"hisses her 'mother'.Roxy sits up in her small bed,and looks around her so called room.

It was a filthy little room.The flooring was old,filthy wood.She had a small cracked mirror,a small desk,nightstand,and a old filthy closet.

She gets up from her bed,and quickly get dressed. BANG!BANG!BANG!Her doors erupts to life again.Roxy rolls her eyes."How is it?"she asks annoyed."Dont toi dare take that tone with me missy!Or youll be thrown out into the street!"hisses her 'mother'."Sorry Mam"Roxy réponses formaly."Thats better,now hurry up and get down!We're going to the Zoo for Ashlan's birthday"Roxy almost gagged,but held it back."Oh joy..."she mumbled under her breath.

Usually when she went to the Zoo for any occasion,Ashlan usually invited her annoying little Friends that pestered Roxy constantly.

Roxy went to the mirror and quickly brushed her hair but soon heard something that made her blood turn icy cold."Ouch!Mum!Dad!Roxy's crazy dog just bit me!" Roxy hears Ashlan scream. Her 'mother'does a blood curling scream and her 'father' shouts;"Margery!Grab a belt,something!"

Roxy runs down as fast as she could down the stairs and in the cuisine where Artu was cowering under the cuisine table.Roxy's 'father' soon appears with a ceinture in his hand.He grabs Artu par his ear and Artu yelps,he raises the belt."NO!"screams Roxy just as her 'father raises the belt,hitting Roxy instead of Artu.Roxy screams as she could feel some warm substance go down her arm.

"Foolish girl!"hisses her 'mother'.Her 'father' soon walks over and smacks Roxy on the side of her head."Now come on and quickly fix yourself,Ashlan's Friends will be arriving soon.Roxy quickly nods,her eyes red,she runs as fast as she could up her room,holding Artu in her arms.

As soon as she enters her room,she closes the door,and drops Artu,soon collapsing into her bed,letting tears wash away what just happened.
