Dear readers,
Sorry yet AGAIN for the delay; my parents decided to drag me camping in a filthy log cabine owned par my dad's friend and I had no internet access there (curses!) so...yeah. Oh, and also we went river rafting and I almost Lost my shoe to the rapids and also I got hit in the face with a arbre branch and got knocked out of the radeau into freezing-cold river water. Yippee. Anyway, I hope toi enjoy this suivant chapter!

"You must be hungry," a dit Ember. Bloom nodded eagerly. "Come with me, we'll have some nourriture and water ready. How long do toi think it will take for your Friends to get to the island?"
Bloom's cœur, coeur plunged all the way down to her feet. "That depends," she sighed. "Maybe a week ou so."
Ember nodded. "Do toi know where they are now?"
"The same little island as last time," a dit Bloom, not wanting to mention the huge battle.
"Right, of course. Anyway, I'm going to find toi a place to rest. In the meantime, have some of these."
Ember stopped at a big ring of gigantic woven baskets and scooped one up. It was filled with whitish nuts that looked almost like they were gigantic, cashew-shaped granules of sugar with seeds stuck in them.
"What are those?" Bloom asked.
Ember's eyes widened. "Oh, bahpre, I forgot that you've probably never tried a crescent nut before. They're good, have some." Before Bloom could object, Ember scooped up a handful of the nuts and placed them in Bloom's hand. Then, Ember plucked a particularly large nut out of the basket and popped it into her mouth, smiled at Bloom, and walked away.
Well, then she had to try it. Bloom selected the smallest crescent nut in her palm and dropped it into her mouth. It was actually pretty good; sweet and crunchy. The tiny seeds in the nut gave it a toasted flavor.
As Bloom ate her nuts, she wondered what bahpre meant when she remembered Faragonda's lessons on the language of the Island of Stars. Bahpre was a swear word.
"Oh, what are they going to do to her?" Stella wailed as she flung herself down on the gritty sand. "I can't believe we didn't try to stop those Amazons when they took her away!"
"We need to get to that island!" yelled Layla. "The creatures there are probably killing her right now! We need to go! We need to save Bloom!"
"What's the point?" cried Tecna. "There's no way we'll be able to get there without getting ourselves and Bloom killed!"
"But we need to find her!" Sky yelled out, louder than all of them. "We need to go! NOW! I don't care if we all die, we need to save her from that stupid island! Let's GO!"
The Winx and the Specialists all began arguing back and forth in a frenzied chaos of angry voices. Finally, Flora, the peacemaker, quickly scrambled up onto a rock and screamed out at the haut, retour au début of her lungs, "QUIET!"
Flora did not scream. Ever. So, after she yelled that out, louder than anyone else, everyone instantly silenced.
"Don't toi see what's happening here?" cried Flora. "Arguing like this is not going to get us anywhere! We need to figure this out without fighting, as hard as it may seem."
Murmurs of agreement ran through them like a stream, and Musa quietly said, "Yes, you're right, Flora. Fighting isn't getting us anywhere."
Soon, they were all seated in a circle, all of them solemn and serious. They needed to save Bloom.
"Maybe if we all try a convergence?" offered Stella.
"The island is made of magic," Layla a dit seriously. "Even our most powerful Believix convergence won't make a dent in the energy surrounding that place."
"There isn't much else we can do," Timmy a dit in a worried voice. "Even our weapons are useless."
"Maybe we should just try to survive here and wait for any opportunities for any of toi guys to earn your Lunarix," a dit Helia.
"That's going to be slow going," a dit Musa. "But I think that might be the only way."
Then, suddenly Tecna gasped, and everyone jumped.
"My god!" cried Tecna. "Why didn't I remember before? Faragonda told me recently that if a fairy earns her Lunarix, it gives her enough energy to bring another person with her to the Island."
"So, since Bloom is on the Island, can one of us go?" Sky asked hopefully.
Tecna shook her head. "I'm really sorry, Sky, it's too late for that. But the suivant person who earns her Lunarix might be able to bring a Specialist with them. I think if we all go to the Island of Stars slowly, two par two, we'll have everyone on there in no time and we can rescue Bloom!"
"That's brilliant!" a dit Nabu, and excited chatters flew around their little circle. It was a plan.
"We don't exactly have luxury accommodations here on the Island, if that's what toi were expecting," Echo a dit to Bloom as she led her to the area of the spring sector that was the closest to the lagoon. "But this was the best we could find for you."
Echo led bloom to a large arbre that had roses that were literally dripping off of the branches. Their strong scent filled the air around the tree. A humongous vine was coiled around the tronc and one end was on the ground, almost like a walkway. Echo and Bloom carefully made their way up.
"Here toi go." Echo gestured to the inside of the tree. There was a little circular space, and on it was a giant leaf to act as a rug of sorts, a big pile of faded grayish feathers on a small ledge to act as a bed, a smooth purple jug of water that sat on haut, retour au début of a large, fat champignon that was kind of like a bedside table, and a green stem with a citrouille lantern, unlit, dangling on the end. Also, against the mur was a rolled-up, faded brown blanket.
"I know it's not much," a dit Echo. "But we figured it would be better than to have toi sleeping on the ground with us. The Amazons especially are pretty stinky after a jour of sweating in the summer sector."
Bloom gave a little laugh. "Thanks. This is just fine."
Bloom was really hoping that her Friends would make it to the island soon. They were not likely to survive on the bare, hostile island where they had crash-landed. Bloom remembered that there were amenities in the aircraft such as nourriture and water, but that was only enough for a week ou so. Hopefully luck would kick in soon.
