AN: Sorry I'm so late on the mises à jour readers. I've been fairly busy with school and family time, so I haven't really had much time to work on this story. Hope toi all can forgive me and my excuses ^^' Other than that, it you're still going with this story; I hope toi enjoy this chapter.

It was a peaceful jour in Alfea, school for fairies. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze cooling off anyone who may be outside. The lake near the school was shining brightly, and so did the rose tiles coating the school.

Everything was just as peaceful inside, as it was outside. The headmistress of this school, Miss Faragonda, was sitting at her bureau filling out some paper work. Light streaming through her curtains, the only noise that could be heard in the office was the scratching of her pen.

WOOSH! Miss Faragonda jumped at the noise and was soon face to face with the Winx and the Trix, and a block of ice. Her jaw went open for a second, before she regained her composure, walking up towards the large group.

"Could someone please explain to me what is all of this?" She asked seriously, raising an eyebrow. "Allow me--" Bloom began, but was interrupted par Icy. "Why do toi always have to be in the spotlight? We felt those disturbances too toi know?" She snarled, earning a deadly glare from Faragonda and all the Winx.

"Alright, Icy, how about toi explain what happened?" Icy nodded with a pleased look on her face and folded her arms to her chest.

"Well, when they came a long, we all headed through this cave that we all found. Eventually, we came to this room and the door locked behind us sealing us in with this ugly ghost creature. Once he had defeated it, another door opened montrer us this man who called himself Zant. He attacked us, but then vanished before we could get him."

Miss Faragonda seemed very much in thought once Icy had finished, and began pacing around the room and looking at her books. "Is there something wrong, Miss Faragonda?" Flora asked skittishly. "Yes, there is something wrong Flora... It seems in fact that I have heard of this man named Zant." She a dit in a serious tone, taking a book out of her shelf.

"Really? What do toi know about him?" Musa asked, her voice full of curiosity. "Well Musa, this Zant is a person of Twili decedent." Everyone gave her confused looks, and everyone seemed to have a question on their minds, but kept their mouths shut for Faragonda to continue.

"I know toi all may be wondering what and who the Twili are, so let me explain; the Twili were people that lived peacefully in a realm, known as the Twilight Realm." She snapped her finger and the book opened, flipping through pages before stopping and revealing a holographic image of blue people some tall, some short, with yellow eyes living in a world of darkness, lit par two bright blue balls.



"They all live peacefully with their true leader, the Twilight Princess. Sadly though, even the most peaceful looking kingdoms must go down. A terrible creature or, man of their realm, came and took down the princess, overthrowing her and taking over the Twilight Realm."

Another snap of the fingers, revealed the image of a tall and beautiful woman. She was wearing a black manteau with sarcelle, teal insides. She had long orange hair, and her hair was blue also. She had bright red eyes and dark long lashes. She had a lovely piece of jewelry, that could only be considered of as a crown.



"Wow, she's beautiful." Layla a dit in awe, looking at the princess of Twilight. "Yes, she was." Tecna rose an eyebrow at Faragonda's response. "What do toi mean, was?"
Miss Faragonda snapped her finger again and revealed an image of huge black beasts. "When Zant took over, none of the Twili knew what had happened to their princess. Some say Zant killed her, others say she fled. These creatures could be her, considering this is what the Twili look like now."

"That looked like the thing Icy froze!" Darcy hissed, causing Faragonda to focus her attention on Icy. "Do toi have it?" Icy rolled her eyes. "It's in the block of ice smart." Faragonda narrowed her eyes at Icy once more, before walking towards the large block of ice the the end of the room. She gasped when she saw it, and then began to examine it plus closely.

"So, do toi know what it is?" Stella asked, not sure what to expect. "As a matter of fact, I do know what this is. It is called a Shadow Beast, and they are very dark and horrible creatures."

"So, its not a Twili?" Layla asked, standing on her tip-toes to get a better look. "No, it is not. It is a monster that does bidding for Zant." The group nodded, and backed slowly away from the block of ice. "Now that we've got that all cleared... Icy, could toi explain to me how Zant escaped?"

Icy frowned and furrowed her brows to try and remember. "I remember him sending that thing after me, and once I was occupied, he started tending to this mirror like object. Just as Darcy, Stormy and I were about to get him, he walked up these translucent stairs and vanished inside of it. Before we could go in after him, it smash into three pieces."

"I see... Girls, I'm afraid what we're dealing with is very serious." This made tension spread through the whole room. "How serious are we talking?" Bloom asked, becoming plus anxious par the minute. "You see, par the mirror that Icy is describing to me, it seems that Zant was toying with the Mirror of Twilight. Before toi ask anymore questions, this mirror is the only known object that connects out world to the Twilight realm. Since Zant smashed it, no one can stop him now. Unless--"

"Unless someone collects the other three parts." Tecna finished, Faragonda nodding in agreement. "So, we're going to have to look for these pieces, aren't we?" Stella asked, smirking. Faragonda smiled lightly. "Yes and no Stella. Yes, because of course toi all we'll have to stop Zant. And no, because you're first going to have to find the princess to do so. She's the only one who can sense where the pieces are."

"But, how are we supposed to find her when no one knows what happened to her?" Musa inquired, making Faragonda smile. "You see girls, whenever Zant tries to take over a part of the "light world", there is a large boundary that forms which takes toi into an alternate realm to this one. Or, in simpler terms; toi are transported into a Twilight version of that specific area."

"What does this have to do with finding the princess?" Flora asked, making Faragonda snap her fingers and reveal another image of an area on Earth coated in Twilight. "It means toi all will go there and look for the princess. It would make sense if she would try and find refuge there."



"When do we leave?" Bloom asked, excitement in her voice. "As soon as possible. From what toi have described to me, it would be best if toi all found the princess as quickly as toi can." They all nodded, and soon Faragonda had created a portal inside the office. "Be warned, creatures in there will be like nothing you've ever seen. Be careful." With that warning, the Winx and Trix walked into the portal, bracing themselves for whatever lie ahead.
