Walking Dead Question

This has probably been asked before but I'm just curious about how toi got into The Walking Dead.

Like what drew toi to the show. I just started watching it very, very recently. I was unsure for a long time. Everyone was talking about it, I saw clips in fan made vidéos on YouTube, their were clips of it on tv. A lot of girls talked about Daryl Dixon. He's a BIG part of what drew me to the show, plus I have 3 posters of him and as I a dit I just started watching the show. I even bought the dvds, season 1 and 2 but was really unsure because I hate zombie movies, I don't mind horror but it's zombies, I just don't like watching flesh eating monsters. But I decided to watch it and I like it, even if it grosses me out, especially with seeing a pack of 'walkers' eating animals. Anyways, I just wondered, why toi started to watch it.

It was my family that got me interested in TWD. They had all the seasons on DVD and they kept talking about it, about how amazing Daryl is. How great the montrer is and everything. So recently I started to watch all of the seasons and now just like them I can't wait for Sunday.

My husband watched the montrer and even though he normally doesn't watch any tv at all, literally, he was raving about this montrer and telling me how different it was from everything else on TV. So par the middle of season 2, I finally set some time aside to catch up to him. We re-watched what I'd missed and I was immediately hooked. We've been watching up to rendez-vous amoureux, date ever since. The jouer la comédie is awesome, lots of British rather than American actors but toi can hardly tell, and the écriture is very intellectual and not so politically correct and limited par the political correctness. It touches on real issues in a genuine manner and makes toi think instead of just giving toi what toi want. Very unique and mostly realistic for a zombie script.

Also the guy who played Shane in season 1 & 2 got contracts to do films in America so that made it relevant in the news at the time I started watching as well. (Kind of a big deal for an unknown side character to get signed for films.) Additionally the montrer had some amazing cameos par haut, retour au début actors like Season 1's Michael Rooker ou Season 2's Scott Wilson which interested my husband and I as well. It gave the montrer some extra credibility and legitimacy that it wasn't a regular TV show.

My brothers introduced me to The Walking Dead. We were watching it on Halloween one night and it gave me a lot of anxiety when I first watched the show... but now, years later, I'm used to watching gore and horror. I'm kind of thankful to The Walking Dead because I used to get really panicky and my chest would hurt when I would watch end of the world type movies.
