“I know there’s a connection!” Liz exclaimed. “I know how to do my job. I don’t need some vampire to tell me that”
Caroline looked away, avoiding her mother’s stare.
“Caroline, I’m sorry” Liz a dit soft. “I didn’t mean…”
“Yes, toi did!” Caroline a dit firm. She turned her back on her mother. “You know, I just wanted to help you. I just wanted some distraction”
“I know, honey” Liz said. She lay her hand on Caroline’s shoulder, but she pushed it away.
“I guess I should go back to Elena” she a dit bitter. “At least she appreciates my help” And that being a dit she raced away.

“Trouble, sheriff?” Stefan asked. He had heard mother and daughter argue and wanted to offer his help.
“Nothing I can’t handle without your help, Stefan” Liz a dit annoyed. Why did everyone assume she needed help from vampires each time things didn’t flow the way they should?
“What about him?” Stefan nodded at the corpse. Liz sighed. He was going to find out anyway. “Gabe Lindy”
“How do toi tell?” Stefan asked. There was absolutely no way anyone could recognize him.
“I received an anonymous tip” Liz replied. “From a young woman. It’s not the first time she called. She seems to know a lot about missing corpses”
“And toi have no idea who this woman is? She could be the killer” Stefan pointed out. Liz cast him an angry look. “But toi have thought of that, of course…Would toi mind if I take the body with me?”
“Why would I let toi do that?” Liz asked confused.
“Because if toi don’t I’m going to have to hurt you” Stefan explained sad. Liz grabbed for her gun, but Stefan was quicker. He pushed her arm aside and knocked her down. Then he grabbed Gabe’s corps and rushed away with it.
“Open the door now, Stefan! I need to talk to my sister!”
Stefan opened the door after Jeremy had banged it about twelve times.
“Alright, alright, don’t get all up tied” Stefan a dit as he opened the door, a blood bag in his hand. “Now, what brings toi here? Something about Elena, I assume?”
“I need to talk to her” Jeremy repeated. “And toi know why”
Stefan shrugged. “Why didn’t toi come here last night?”
“Because I knew Elena wasn’t here. I knew she was with Alaric and her friends, I didn’t want to make a scene” Jeremy explained.
“And toi were also chicken that...

“Suit yourself, moron” Tyler send and he shut the computer down.
Elena opened her eyes and sat up. One thing was certain. This was not her room. Neither was it Damon’s. A picture of her and Stefan told her this was Stefan’s room. She got up and regretted it the moment she stood on her feet. Her head bounced, everything was blurry and she got so dizzy she had to sit down again. And on haut, retour au début of that her stomach was twisting around. Then she remembered the state she was in. This was just one of the symptoms…Wait, Caroline didn’t say anything about feeling nauseous.

Kelsey’s body dropped on the floor and Damon appeared with her cœur, coeur in his hand.
“You killed her” Stefan said.
“You’re welcome” Damon said.
“You shouldn’t have done that” Stefan said. “I deserved to die”
“You’re welcome” Damon repeated now pissed. Stefan’s ingratitude annoyed him immense. His ripper mood didn’t appeal to Damon, not anymore. But neither did he have to go back to his holier than the pope days.
“You always do this. toi face a problem toi can’t handle and so toi eliminate the problem” Stefan said.
Damon lifted up the body and threw it over his...

“She suggested to stay with her so we could catch up, but I already promised Keith to stay with him. But we spent plus time together. When Mayor Lockwood died I returned, but toi know that. toi basically stalked me with your calls to get toi out of trouble. How many nights did toi spend in jail?” Kelsey chuckled. Then she sighed. “If I had foreseen this I would’ve enjoyed those little moments”
Amber didn’t react.
“Amber, sweetie, did toi fall asleep?” Kelsey asked with a squeezed voice, knowing better. She pulled her sister up, taking her face in her hands. “Come on, it’s night. You’re a vampire, toi should be awake” she a dit with a trembling voice.
But Amber still didn’t montrer any sign of life.
“Amber?” Kelsey sobbed, tears rolling over her cheeks and she held her little sister tightly in her arms. The moon slowly rose…
The sun warmed Kelsey’s body and as she opened her eyes she noticed she was covered with a jacket.
“It’s all I have”
Kelsey looked up and saw the bartender sitting suivant to her.
“I think introduction is in order. Keith” he a dit sticking out his hand, but Kelsey only stared at him confused. “My imagination is too restricted to fully understand what happened last night, but I have quite some theories” he added.
Kelsey rubbed her forehead.
“Stay here, I’ll get toi some clothes” Keith a dit and he returned to his bar. A few minutes later he came back with some clothes. “I left...

The Lockwood House
Gabe walked the doorstep and knocked. He’d been to the police station, but they had refused to release his daughter. A few minutes later the door went open and a middle age woman appeared. She was wearing an apron. “Can I help you, sir?” “My name’s Gabe Lindy, Mr. Lockwood knows me. I have to speak to him” Gabe said. “I will see if he can make some time” the Maid answered. “Tell him it’s important” Gabe added. The Maid nodded and turned around.
A few minutes later the Maid returned with Mayor Lockwood. As soon as they arrived at the front door the Mayor...

“Sorry, Kelsey, toi know I can’t do that” the bartender said. “You’re not 21 yet”

A cold wind teased Kelsey’s naked body and she shivered. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around. There was nothing but leaves. Kelsey searched the ground with her hands and they touched something cold and solid. She slowly and fearful rotated her head. When she saw her sister’s body she gasped and covered her mouth. “Oh my God” she started crying as she crawled to Amber. “Amber, wake up. Please, honey, wake up” But Ambers eyes remained closed. “I’m so sorry, Amber. This is all my fault” she sobbed.
“Hey, toi didn’t do all of it. I kicked some cul, ass too”
Kelsey looked...

Though there was no clock in the room and Tyler couldn’t check time he could feel the evening fell. Tonight was the night. They were going to set him free to go kill people. Maybe Klaus would try to turn him into a Hybrid as well. But that didn’t make any sense. If Klaus wanted to turn him he would’ve done it par now. A voice woke him from his thoughts. “Tyler? Tyler, what’s going on? Everything’s quiet here. Suspiciously quiet. Where have they gone?” Caroline hissed agitated.
“It’s a full moon tonight” Tyler said.
“So, what, they’re getting prepared?” Caroline said....

“Where are we going?” Amber repeated her most urgent question.
“To a sûr, sans danger place” Kelsey answered, with a whiff of fear in her voice. “I need to get toi somewhere safe”

Derek Janders. The name sounded familiar, but try as he might Damon could not figure out where he had heard it before.
“Let me buy toi a drink” Derek said. It plus sounded like an order than a friendly gesture. He conjured his wallet and paid two whiskeys, after compelling the bartender not to ask his ID.
“Who turned you?” Damon asked, not touching his drink.
“Does it matter?” Derek answered with a question. “Look, toi wanted me to tell toi what I wanted, so here it is. I want toi to train me, educate me in the world of vampires”
Now Damon drank to wash away that information....

After he had gotten breakfast and his guardian had left he crawled to the mur on the opposite side of the room. He had to be very quiet, because he knew she wasn’t the only one who could hear him. Caroline lifted her head and opened her ears. No way! That was not possible. When Amber a dit there were others Caroline assumed she was talking about vampires, not werewolves.
