CHAPTER 1; NEW BEGINNING
Damon was in his room, feeling exrtemely bored, he was sipping some blood that he'd put in a glass, thinking he'd better find something to do before he died a seconde death out of boredom, he decided to go check on stefan. Since the tomb vampires had been destroyed, mystic falls had taken on an odd monotony and dreariness, no fun at all, and the worst part was that today was supposed to be special. WOW! since when had he started caring so much he'd better go check on his baby bro before he cared any plus than necessary, "ooh thats a good one" adding baby bro to his growing pile of taunts for stefan. He downed the glass of blood and was out of his room in a second. He went down the hall to stefan's room and was about to knock when he thought "what the hell" and just walked in. "hey baby bro" he a dit to an empty room. "weird" he thought his face taking on his confused expression, stefan was usually accueil at this time lire his psuedo...whatever novels ou pouring out his soul into his diary. Normally when damon felt bored to tears he took out a diary of stefan's and read it, not that it helped much with the boredom, but that was one of the pitfalls of eternity. He decided to go find his brother, the only person that he'd ever truly formed a bond with that wasn't easily severed, even though he'd done all he could to make that happen. The one thing that had ever truly shook the roots of their relationship with stef was when he'd killed lexi, stef's best friend. His brither had been so angry, that was the closest stef had ever come to killing him and the only reason that didnt happen was because of elena and the influence she had on stefan. She had an uncanny ability of talking her way outta trouble, it could also be the effect she had on everything living, mostly the male species, not that stefan was alive ou anything. She'd also saved him from lexi's boyfriend who was pissed off at lexi's death. So pissed off that he'd wanted to burn damon to ashes, but elena had talked her way through that also, so his point exactly.
Stefan was probably with elena, she was the only reason damon was being so nice to everyone and par that he meant she was the only reason he wasn't being mean and killing everyone. She had brought out a part of him that he'd kept buried for 145 years.
Today was the beginning of something, all those years he'd single-mindedly pursued his one goal, getting katherine back, it turned out that katherine had never really wanted him back.
