In my country, The Vampire Diaries is aired 3 or 4 days later than in America so I watch it online. :)

While the new season starts in September in the States we have to wait till January here and I'm too impatient to do that so I watch online.

this is one of the few shows i actually watch on tv, not sure why but I do :)

I can find it online 20-30 mins after it airs so I just download it, no commercials. =]

I use to watch online cuz I started watchin halfway through season 2 Just to catch up
But now i watch on tv

the only time i would watch the show online is if i some how miss it other wise i watch it on tv

I order my episodes through Amazon. I get two copies, one for my PC and I then get one copy to put on a device, like my internet tablet and I can watch it anywhere.

I wish I could watch on TV!!!
If it's not online, there's no possible way for me to catch up on every episode. :(

In Germany season two has not even finished and I want to be up to date because otherwise I would always have to be afraid of spoilers on this site (and because I'm impatient...). And even more importantly, I don't want to watch a dubbed version!

@ JAlanaE: You're lucky ^^ In the Netherlands, season 2 hasn't even started yet.. and I don't think they're going to broadcast it =( So I watch TVD online (without subtitles, good for my English, though xD)

In Greece (where I live) they havent started showing season 1, but I heard that they would show it pretty soon.
I actually download it though.

Both. If I am busy and can't watch an episode when it airs then I just catch up online :)

i live in Germany where TVD comes much later.i think they just started with 2x19 or so, so i watch it online.

There's season 1 on TV where I live. :-)
