I think it's obvious that Katherine doesn't care for Damon anymore. She had what? 145 years to find him, but she didn't, he was looking for her and I'm sure she had some information about his location, but still...
I don't think she cares at all, he was a nice to for her like many other guys, their love was real only for him, but not for her.
