Every time Paul Wesley emotes I feel like I'm going to burst into tears. But Nina and Ian are really brilliant during sad scenes too. :) Like that scene where Alaric dies in Damon's arms? I was a wreck.

My least favourite would be Paul - I prefer him in angry/jelaous scenes. For me he's crying, like "too much", not really like a guy. "Men's tear", that make my heart break, is one tear, like Klaus in his scene with Micheal or Damon when Rose died. You know, without sniffing/eyebrowes moves etc.
Kat's performence when Granny died was really emotional, also when she was kindapped by Klaus - I don't care about Bonnie too much, but her cring is so full of pain I had to go with her. But also Nina & Candice are showing character's pain ion a very touching great.
TVD cast is just overally really amazing!

Paul's crying is the most realistic, I mean that's how people look like when they cry... And Bonnie's crying when her grams died - that was the best crying scene ever, that was extremely good. But she didn't make other crying scenes that great. The only time I liked Ian's acting was when Rose died. Joseph crying is perfect for his character, but I wouln'd say, that very heartbreaking. Other actors crying scenes I don't like at all, because it's obvious that that's acting. It's very unnatural. For me when Jeremy cries I don't see emotions at all, just some tears. Elena's crying is very very unnatural, it's probably the worst acting, it's so obvious that she's trying too hard and she's bad at sad scenes., but for example I liked when Katherine cried at the end of 02x07, that was very convincing and realistic.. I like when caroline cries when someone tortures her, but when she's crying because she's sad, thats unnatural too.

Paul is the only one who actually makes me cry too when he's crying. He's so talented. :)

Nina is good too, i love her crying at Jenna's funeral. Kath sometimes is too forced, like in the premiere when she was crying bc of Grams, just no. Candice is really brilliant, i think she is the best female actress along with Nina. The best is when Caroline's dad was dying. My fave is absolutely Ian. When Rose is dying, when he bites Andy, when Rick is dying... i was a mess. Crying like a baby.

Honestly, I start to cry when I see any of them cry, but Jeremy makes me bawl every time he cries. When Stefan cries I don't usually feel for him but he is such a great actor when he cries. I cry when Klaus cries too. and normally when Elena and Caroline cry. The only ones that don't make me feel emotion is when Bonnie cries or when Tyler cries which is rare anyway.

Elena, Damon or Klaus because when they cry we can really see it's coming from deep down. Stefan cries at least 5 times per seasons so it lost of it's impact. I've never felt like his crying was realistic. IMO he cries too much, I've never seen a straight guy cry like that. I mean it's amazing that Paul can cry on demand but he puts too much tears in his crying. ( I personally think the problem lies in the script, JP and all the writers write Stefan like a gay guy)

I love Elena's and Bonnie's crying they always put the exact amount of tears for us to feel bad for them. I really felt for them when their family died

Caroline's crying is only good when she's getting tortured, the other times it comes off as fake. Except when her dad died! Candice really nailed it then.

Tyler's crying is very heartbreaking! Now Tyler sheds a lot of tears but unlike Stefan, Tyler cries from physical pain so there is no way he can control himself therefore his tears are justified which makes michael's performance very realistic.

Candice, Nina and Ian can really make you feel the pain. Paul does a good job and it's not his fault, but he cries WAY too much.

I PICKED NINA BECAUSE OF SEASON 4 EPISODE 15. AT SHE IS AN AMAZING ACTRESS. LIKE OMG. SHE MADE ME CRY. ACUALLY ALL THE CHARACTORS ON THIS SHOW ARE GOOD AT CRYING.
