I know some parents who stopped watching & won't let her kids watch the show because they make sex look like it is okay for all teenagers. Do you notice that is ALL they ever talk about? In my day, a girl would get a bad reputation talking about sex all the time in public like that. I think the show sends the wrong message even though they try to make it seem like they have good intentions with their little speeches like: "The 1st time too many teenagers have a sex talk with their parents it's when they're telling them that they're pregnant. Parents if your teen has a question about sex don't assume that they're doing it & teens if your parents aren't talking to you about sex don't assume that they don't care. Teenage sex is 100% preventable". REALLY?! I'm sorry but that is NOT the message I get from the show with all the teenage pregnancies, Anne's pregnancy showing parents committing adultery, failed marriages turning women into lesbians & there have been some other weird graphic things I can't imagine talking to my child about. Ben is so pathetic & has no respect for his father, who is the nicest man in the world. Ben is like a psycho stalker so he was better off with Dylan instead of always wanting to ruin Amy & Ricky's relationship. I kept watching because I wanted to see Ricky & Amy get together & I had hope for the show after his cute proposal & they seemed to be good for each other. The whole wedding farce was a mistake & now Ricky is getting too close to Chelsea, Ben is determined to ruin Amy's relationship & I'm not sure what's up with Adrian. I hope Jack didn't die from the pimp beating & the father just wanted to pray for him to survive, but if he dies I think the show is going to go downhill from there. It's like a teenage soap opera with kids swapping sex partners like it's nothing & love is an obsession or infatuation. Depending on what happens to Jack, Mr. Boykewich taking in the teenage prostitute & if Ricky & Amy don't get legally married, I'm not sure if I'm going to continue watching or not...

The show got cancelled and they only have the rest of this season to finish the show. I think Ricky and Amy should be together and honestly I don't care what happens to anyone else. They are the best couple on the show I think. I also love Ashley so I hope she ends up happy too. but I agree that the show can make sex seem like something that everyone should do. But in the beginning I felt like the show was giving a good message by showing how hard Amy's life was after getting pregnant. I don't like the way everyone treated her throughout the beginning but I do think it made her life seem so much harder. I felt bad for her for a while, I also love Ricky and i felt bad for him too. But I have always hated Ben and his character is just annoying and jealous all the time. I like everyone else for the most part. But I don't really care that the show is ending. I think it has said enough. And it has lasted long enough.
