“Miss me?” Ponyboy asks.
“Of course. I haven’t seen toi in awhile.”
“I know. I just don’t want your mom and dad to get suspicious, toi going to the wrong side of the tracks and all.” He mutters, just holding you.
“I know.” toi mutter. “I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
“Don’t toi think I do too?” He says, holding toi a bit tighter.
“I know toi do.” toi whisper.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you. I regret everything that happened when I first walked out. I thought it’d be better for both of us. But I was wrong.” He mumbled into your shoulder.
“I can’t wait till I’m 18. They won’t be able to tell me what to do. And I can have you.”
“And you’ll be mine.” He smiles.

“Yeah?” He asks, absentmindedly playing with your hair.
“Would toi ever leave me?” toi whisper.
He sorta turns your body to face him. toi see the emotions in his eyes.
“I would never, ever leave you, until the jour I die. Even if toi ended up with someone else, I’d still always be here. I’d catch toi when toi fall. Not only catch you, but put toi back up where toi started and help toi along the way. I would never leave you, even in a burning building. I l’amour you.”
