“You ok?” Y/N asks, grabbing my hand.
I was shaking. “I don’t know…
I’m about to tell my family I’m having a baby and I’m only 14.”
She laughs, a little bit nervously. “You’re not having the baby, I am.”
“Pretty much the same thing.” I grumble.
“No toi aren’t going to push a pastèque, melon d’eau out-”
“Ok! Ok! It’s totally different!” I say, wanting to spare the details.
“Well, toi just happened to be the one who stuck his-“
I give her a look. “Ok! I get it!”
She snickers. “Just trying to prove a point.”
“I have gotten your point.” I grin. But it soon fades. “What do toi think they’re gonna do? I’m worried… What if they hate me, or-“
“Hey,” she cuts me off, grabbing my hand. “This is all that matters.” She puts my hand on her stomach, a tiny, not even visible bump.
And that’s when it clicks.
My baby was in there. 50% of me. I didn’t matter what they thought, only if Y/N and the baby, my baby, were alright. There was a little person who was going to call me daddy. So screw what they thought. If they weren’t going to support me with something I have to support, they could go to hell.
“Wow.” I whisper, just kind of holding my hand there.
“You feel him too?” She kinda whispers.
“Him?” I ask.
“Yeah… I think it’s a boy.”
I shake my head. “It’s a girl.”
“I don’t think-“
I cut her off with a short Kiss on the lips. “It’s a girl.” I pull back.
“If toi say so…” She mutters as I pull her into a hug. “Five bucks I’m right.”
“You’re on.” I nod.
Wow. We we are actually betting on our unborn child.
My Lord.
What kind of parents…
I don’t even want to think about this.

Later that night, toi hear someone in the house. Thankfully Dally heard it too and he was wide awake. He quickley gets out of lit as toi follow. toi creep down the hallway and peek around the corner.
"Go back to the room," He says as toi do what he instructed
toi sit on the bed, praying that everythings okay.
Soon, toi hear shots from a gun.
Then silence
With the money that I would have gone to college with, and with what Ponyboy had saved, we had bought Soda his horse.
Soda came in, in his plaid chemise and jeans. His jaw dropped. Then he smile brighter than the sun.
He walked over to horse.
“Hey buddy,” he says, smiling, petting his nose.
“It took forever to get him to listen,” Ponyboy said.
“Yeah, I got myself and ornery pony.” Soda grins.
“You happy?” toi ask Soda.
He just looks at you, smiles and nods his head.
“Yes. I am 100% serious.” He says, grinning.
“You’re joking.”
“No I’m not.” He laughs.
“Yes toi are.”
“Come on (Y/N).”
“Fine.” toi say.
toi take the bière from his hand and chug it down.
“There.. Are toi happy with my chugging skills?” toi ask.
toi had gotten tired of the New Years Party toi were at, so toi decided to have your own; complete with balloons, champagne, dancing, and the life of the party.
“This is fun,” toi laugh as toi look up to him.
“Yeah,” he laughs, as he dips you.
“Careful of the champagne, babe.”
“Sorry… Just trying to make things classy.” He laughs.
“You kidding me? This is some high class shit!” toi laugh.
He glances at the clock.
“It’s 11:59,” he grins.
“Time for our New Year’s kiss,” toi grin as toi lean in.
“Not yet!” He yells, moving your face away. “It isn’t midnight yet!”
toi laugh, then glance at the clock.
“Well, we missed it.” toi pout. “It’s 12:01.”
“Looks like we have to wait a whole nother year.”
He pauses for a second, thinking.
“You.” He finally answers, smiling.
“That’s not one thing.” toi roll your eyes and giggle.
“Yes it is. toi are you. Without certain things, toi wouldn’t be you. If you’re pretty eyes weren’t (eye color), toi wouldn’t be you. If toi didn’t snort when toi laugh, toi wouldn’t be you. If toi didn’t randomly burst into song, toi be you.
If toi weren’t nice and sweet and funny, it wouldn’t be (Y/N). The (Y/N) I know, l’amour and adore.” He smiles as he kisses toi on the cheek.
“Really?” toi ask.
“Really.”
“Really really?”
“Really really.”
“Johnny how do toi think this looks?” toi ask, holding up a black dress to you.
“How am I supposed to know?” He groans as he leans on one of the shelves of the department store.
“Well, would I look good in it?” toi ask, twirling the dress around.
“You’d look good in any clothes, honey.” He smiles at you.
“Any clothes?” toi ask, scrunching your nose.
“But toi also look good in no clothes, if that’s what toi want to know,” he grins at toi like a little kid. “So could toi hurry up so I could see my favori outfit on you?”
