The suivant morning when I got up I took a shower, in one of their fancy, million button showers.

I kept it simple though, I pulled on a brown tee shirt, I don’t know something about color was comforting and then I pulled on jeans and tennis shoes, I despised boots.

I went out to the dining room table, Pranet and Winnie were the only ones up yet, I sat suivant to Pranet, my ally.

“So Pranet tells me you’ve already decided on ally choices. Let me guess. District two?”

“No not at all”, Pranet a dit to her.

“Oh.”

“She wants the threes, a four, the fives, a six, a ten, a eleven, and the twelve’s”...

Basically, the main reason I like Katniss is because she is a refreshingly realistic, flawed character. She is also rare in another way - Katniss is a well thought-out, well-written female character, rather than just being there to be a l’amour intrest for a male hero (this might have somethig to do with the fact that Suzanne Collins herself is female).
