I think that it won't get any better than Jennifer Lawrence. Watch the video with Gary Ross and figure out how he felt about her and Josh Hutcherson. :)

As a friend of mine put it, "She isn't genuine. She is a good actress, but you can TELL she is acting." I think she will be okay, but I don't really feel she is right for the role.

The whole thing is bull if you ask me. Ross wanted josh and jen from the start. He met with them before he was even sure if he'd get the director job and spoke to them about the roles.

okay... lets agree no one wanted josh to play peeta, but jennifer lawrence was perfect for katniss. i can picture anyone else as katniss. everybody says she is an amazing actress (not just in the hunger games) and that she has an intelectual mind for the part

To be honest, when I first heard about Jennifer playing Katniss I was really disappointed. But now I can't picture anyone else but her as Katniss; she's really amazing.

Shes too old, too fat, too feminine looking and doesn't Katniss have to look tough!?

no offence, but she is too chubby (not fat ) to be katniss, katniss is skinny

and she isnt a bad actress, but she isnt that good...

Josh was perfect to play peeta though ;)
