bluecementicing 1) lol 2)to be honest i don't think gale really loved katniss as much as peeta and not in a "i'll die without you way" cuz she was there with him for years and years and he never made a move when he could have easily. more easily than peeta. instead he was going around with other girls. so i think it was more like he wanted what he couldn't have. 3) peeta is awesome so don't deny it. in every way. after the tracker jacker thing, he came out a better person anyway (if that's even possible). 4) lol.

POPclogger216 @bluecementicing: Like the saying " You never know what you got until it's gone", Gale probably didn't realize his true feelings for Katniss until she was reaped (to save her sister). And, during the book, he seemed shy when he expressed his feelings sometimes (not including the ones against the Capitol).

AndyChild When I was reading The Hunger Games, the whole time I was thinking "WTF is Prim and Katniss' mom and Gale and pretty much EVERYONE ELSE IN DISTRICT 12 thinking while they see Katniss and Peeta kiss at random times...I wonder how awkward it was for them :D

"THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE" (2013) Review

Despite my enjoyment of the 2012 movie, "THE HUNGER GAMES", I must admit that I had regarded its sequel, "THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE" with a wary eye. One, the movie franchise had replaced Gary Ross with a new one, Francis Lawrence. And two, a relative who had read all three of Suzanne Collins' novels expressed a less-than-impressed opinion of the seconde installment, which this movie is based upon. But enamored of the first film, I decided to give this seconde one a chance.

"CATCHING FIRE" picked up not long after the ending of the first installment....

My tired and achy body feels numb beneath me. The gentle gliding motion of the train rocks me back and forth like the ocean carrying its waves to the shore. Except waves aren't being carried towards what will most likely be their deaths.

Jay, Tabbie, and Maggie, my mentor-everybody calls her Mags-, all ate in the dining cabine ages ago, but I requested dîner alone in my room. I need time to think and plan strategy. My dîner lies cold and untouched on haut, retour au début of my dresser, the only other piece of furniture in my dismal little train cabine besides my bed. I only have about seven days to prepare...
