There is much débats about who will be cast in the upcoming Hunger Games movie. I know that there are many well-known actors and actrices being considered for different roles, but the ones I am going to liste may not be so familiar.

First and foremost is Katniss. This is par far the most important role in the whole movie. I think it would be cool to see a newcomer take on such an anticipated role, but if the fans want it done right, I suggest Mila Kunis. She played a supporting character in The Book of Eli, where she pretty much already played the role of Katniss. The characters are so similar, I'm sure she would have absolutely no problems with Katniss.

As Gale, I have chosen Andrew Garfield from The Social Network. His jouer la comédie ability is so much greater than any other actor that could be considered for this role. Gale is supposed to be quiet and strong and steady. Andrew Garfield is all of these things and more.

There has been much speculation about Alex Pettyfer in the role of Peeta. I agree with this choice, but I think a better decision would be Xavier Samuel. He played Riley in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. He is a very sweet and charming guy, much like Peeta. Besides Eclipse, he hasn't done any major films and I think that if he were put into this role, he would really montrer fans how amazing he is.

Another very important character is Haymitch. Without a doubt, Robert Downey Jr. is Haymitch. He is gruff and honest and has a nice sense of humor that would fit well for the role of Haymitch. plus than anything, he looks the part. I would be disappointed if anyone else got the role.

Prim, Katniss' younger sister, would be best portrayed par Hailee Steinfeld. Many people have chosen her for the Katniss role, but I think she would be better suited as her sister.

Though it is unlikely, I could see Angelina Jolie as Mrs. Everdeen. She has the right look and if Mila and Hailee were cast as well, they would play a beautiful family.

Someone very new to jouer la comédie is Elle Fanning. She fits the description perfectly of Rue, who is about the same age as Prim. Elle would do really well in this role.

The Tributes

The tributes are some of the most important characters of all. Foxface, one of the last remaining tributes, would be best played par Danneel Harris (One arbre Hill, Fired Up). She has the sharp yet pretty features to play Foxface.

Adrianne Palicki would be best as Glimmer. She played the tough role of Tyra Colette on Friday Night Lights and would be great as the tall, blond-haired Glimmer.

Thresh is another one of the last remaining tributes. He is described as a very strong tribute. I think that Hayden Christensen (Star Wars) would do a marvelous job of playing Thresh. If need be, he could play the vicious villain ou the strong hero.

Jared Padalecki is one of my favori actors. He usually gets the role of the nice, well behaved hero, like his character on Supernatural. But I would like to see him reach deep down inside himself and play the nasty Cato.

Being from the same district as Cato, Clove has the same description of dark features. Alexandra Daddario would be well paired with Jared Padalecki.

Chord Overstreet is known for his role as Sam Evans on Glee. He plays a sweet, loving kid who cares deeply about his friends. It would be great to see Chord in a role such as Marvel, the tribute responsible for killing Rue.
