The Flash - Season 3 - Joey King to Guest as Magenta

Joey King, best known for her roles in Fargo and Independence Day: Resurgence, will guest star on The Flash in October as Magenta.

A teen with a troubled past, Frances "Frankie” Kane is a meta-human with the ability to control metal... but her powers come with a dangerous side-effect, causing her villainous alter ego known as Magenta to emerge.

King, who also appeared in Wish I Was Here, will appear on the season\'s third episode.

Created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, Magenta first appeared in a 1982 issue of The New Teen Titans. Given her name and power set, she inevitably draws comparisons to the famed X-Men villain Magneto.

At one point, Magenta was one of a number of characters who formed a new team of Rogues -- which could be notable, given that The Flash\'s third season introduces both Mirror Master and Dr. Alchemy, both members of the Rogues at various points in their careers.

Every day 100\'s of items are submitted to us and we don\'t always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.

So a result we\'ve come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.

This will allow us to provide more news on more shows in a much more timely fashion

Rather that creating lots of new posts as new info is released and fragmenting the commentary, we thought it would be a good idea for the upcoming major movies to create a single post for each major movies that will collate all the info as it\'s posted.

New items will be added to the top of the list as well as the post being re-posted back to the top of the homepage when a new item is added. We will additionally send out a fresh tweet alerting you of the new information.
