Just so toi know my opinion has changed a little, but not too much, so I hope toi enjoy! But, I saw a lot of people doing this, so I thought "why not?" This is my slightly updated opinion on things, so I know I mentioned how I ranked it when I did individual movie reviews. But my whole haut, retour au début three has changed, so just to clear that up!
Also I will not be doing the new Winnie the Pooh, as I have not see it and I hate to judge something I cannot see.
7. The Princess and the Frog
Okay, before toi get mad, let me explain. There are points of this movie I do like. I absolutely adored the characters...
It's probably not difficult to figure out the meaning behind the song "Where toi Are," but toi might be surprised par the careful planning that went into its lyrics. par exploring multiple perspectives, it foreshadows plus than toi might think. So let's dive in and see how this song works as the first musical number of the movie.
Tui: Moana Make way, make way Moana, it's time toi knew The village of Motunui is all toi need
Right off the bat, Chief Tui is helping young Moana to see the value of their island, but "helping" might not be the right word. He is outright saying that the village is...
I'll just be including the films I've seen so far.
6. The Princess and the Frog I find this movie to be very preachy, the plot convoluted and animation terrible. Especially Rey, which I find hideous and repulsive. Normally I prefer 2D animation, but this is definitely the worst of them. The movie takes jabs and makes fun of Disney tropes such as l’amour at first sight in Cendrillon ou Pinnochio's wishing on a star. Basically it attacks Disney and believing in dreams and tries to hammer down the idea that "one must work hard, believing is not enough blah blah blah" so much that it becomes annoying....
Moana is a 2016 Disney animated film that has Dwayne Johnson as 1 of this film's main characters.
Moana is a young girl who is destined to team up with a demigod named Maui to save her island. However Maui does not want to help Moana. It's up to Moana to get Maui to help her defeat a lava antagonist.
I wasn't expecting that much from Moana's plot, but it turned out to be a plus interesting film than I expected. The early scenes of the film were not that interesting, but the film got better later on. The storyline involving the lava antagonist is surprising.
I honestly don't get why Bolt is here. The Revival Era started in 2009, and Bolt came out in 2008.
This may seem like a weird idea for an article, but let me explain. Last week, I wrote an article about my favori Disney animated films from the Revival Era. The reason I wrote that article is because ApplesauceDoctr also wrote an article like that, so I wanted to write down my version. However, while I wrote down almost everything I wanted to tell about the films I listed off, there are things I forgot to write down, ou didn't have enough l’espace left to write them down. In fact, it was so long that, at the end, it just cuts off without even finishing the sentence.
If you look closely, you could see silhouettes of Nick and Judy behind Fred.
A few days ago, I read an article par Applesauce Doctr, in which she counted down her favori Disney films from the Revival Era. I loved the article, and idea behind the article intrigued me so much that I decided to write down my version.
Over a an ago, I wrote an article where I counted down my haut, retour au début 10 favori Disney movies, but because I had so much to talk about each of them, I had to cut my article in half. The reason I'm telling this is because a good chunk of the Disney films from the Revival Era are in my favorites, and I already explained why I l’amour them, as a result, most of...
Big Hero 6 is a populaire Disney film. The film is about Hiro Hamada who teams up with 4 Friends and a robot to save the world. This review is about discussing the film's bad and good qualities.
Not enough screen time for some characters: The comedy relief character (Baymax) kind of hogs screen time away from characters who deserved plus time to shine including Honey citron and Mr. Krei.
Alan Tudyk deserves a bigger role: I'm tired of Mr. Tudyk playing decoy villains and secondary villains. He should be playing the main villain but Disney keeps having him be secondary antagonists in...
Last, but certainly not least is Moana. suivant article, I'll review the Revival Era as a whole, but I will review this one first. Let's go through this like I always do.
Now, I've only watched this movie twice, because I haven't been able to purchase the DVD to watch it yet. But I have watched it at a friend's house a few days ago, so I have a fresh memory on it.
Since it was first announced that there would be another Disney Princess movie, I was excited. The closer to the movie it got, the plus excited I became, and when I finally did watch the movie, I loved it. It was really...
So here we have my seconde to last individual review on this era. I actually am excited for my over all review of the era, but I need to do my last two reviews. Anyway, enough of that here's the review of Zootopia.
I'll be completely honest with you, when it was first announced, I thought it was going to be stupid. Then, I only have a very vague description of it- a movie about a city with talking animals. However, the plus commercials I watched the plus interested I became and wow! I was impressed! It was such a great movie!
Finally! After this, I have two plus films left to review and I'm going to review the era as a whole! But here, we have Big Hero 6.
The first time I watched the teaser trailer I just about peed myself laughing, and the commercials just got better and better. I was extremely excited to see this movie, and I was not disappointed. It turned out to be one of my favori Disney movies!
I thought the characters were really likeable, and Hiro is my favori Disney character ever! I found Baymax reey cool, Tadashi is okay. Although I didn't feel that Professor Callaghan...
La Reine des Neiges is a Disney animated film that's insanely popular. This review is about the things in La Reine des Neiges that I don't like and the things that I enjoy.
Since I like being optimistic the cons comes first so I can déplacer on to the good stuff.
* Queen Elsa is a pretty uninteresting character. I know that several people l’amour her and that's totally cool, but she doesn't appeal to me. Because her scenes are so dramatic I didn't have fun when she was around. She has perfectly good reasons to be serious, but it hurts the fun of the film. However I do really like her fight scene with the Duke of Weselton's...
So here's the most talked about movie in Disney's Revival Era, actually, probably in Disney History. My opinion on it is kind of mixed as toi will see in this review so, bare with me.
The very first commercial I was just meh about, but the plus the commercials came out and the plus people talked about it, I was really excited. I know when I first watched it I was a bit underwhelmed. I mean, I really enjoyed it, especially the sisterly relationship, but I don't think it was a flawless masterpiece. But let's be honest, most films aren't.
So this is the third review I've done on this club, which means after this leaves Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia and Moana. But right now we will focus on Wreck it Ralph. I will do the same categories as the other two reviews.
This movie, I was actually really interested and excited to see, and although I wasn't blown away, I certainly wasn't disappointed either. From the first commercial I saw, I knew it would be a really creative plot, and I was right!
In my opinion, the characters wasn't the best part of the movie, as I found the whole universe plus interesting,...
Hey! It's me again! This is my seconde review, as I am going to review each movie in the Revival Era. The first was The Princess and the Frog and now I'm reviewing Tangled!. This movie is actually pretty popular, but anyways here we go:
When I first saw the prévisualiser for Tangled, I wasn't particular excited, but I also didn't get that into Disney until my teenage years, which was a few years later. However, I was genuinely surprised of how much I enjoyed it. I thought it was a great movie, and I still find myself watching over and over again.
Hello! This is WinterSpirit809, and I want to review each of the Disney Revival Era movies, starting with the one that officially kicked off the era The Princess and the Frog, which was released in 2010. I know this movie has gotten mixed reviews, though I know Tumblr loved it, but I don't like to use Tumblr as an example too much, because it's just so...Tumblr. But here is my personal opinion on it.
The commercial and the movie came out when I was around nine, so it's hard to remember how I felt about watching it. I remembered it being one of those things I wanted to watch,...
My current icon might be a clue...that I'm going to count the movies since TPatF.
Walt Disney animation has been on a roll for the past several years, and for me, none of these récent films has disappointed. I'm a fan of most of them, and today I'm going to be counting down my favoris of the era. This is not a liste of which ones I think are the best; these are the ones that I personally get the most enjoyment from watching and those that stick out the most in my mind.
8. Winnie the Pooh, 2011 While I thoroughly enjoyed the studio's two précédant films, I didn't see a need to check this out in theaters. Even so, I was curious about it and caught it online within a an of...
As a way to kick off the club, I present this guide to the films of the Disney Revival Era. *Updated 03/03/18
Contentious There is no doubt that Disney has been on a hot streak for the last few years, but discussions about which film started it all are common among Disney fans today. The following three films are sometimes considered part of the era, but this is subject to debate.
Meet the Robinsons (2007) Walt Disney animation Studio's seconde all-computer animated film Meet the Robinsons was released in 2007. It was something of a financial disappointment, but it fared a little better with...
