As a child growing up in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the early 1980s, I often woke up early in the morning, before heading off to school, to complete watching my favori Warner Bros./ Bugs Bunny, Daffy canard cartoons. Often times, Dr. Don Rose (Rosenberg), would entice us to watch plus dessins animés par montrer us a series of animals, many of whom we could possibly win par simply guessing the correct name and species of the animal shown on that day's Broadcast. My father urged me not to waste my time on such nonsense, but I did not care, I was so attracted to Dr. Don's voice, that I spent weeks trying to figure out the names of the animals, and as a result, my knowledge improved three-fold, on this topic.

I seldom remember watching shows like "The Great l’espace Coaster", whose monkey man Gary Gnu would often make me laugh heavily out loud, before which my mom would say, "It's time for school!" It was really Dr. Don's voice that kept me going all this time!

Dr. Don used to send his tapes from California to be Broadcast in the American Center Tower , in the studios of WKBD TV 50.

I have always wanted to take a private tour of the American Center Building, where the office of WKBD TV 50 is located in Southfield, Michigan. Maybe some day, I just might do this!
