Okay, I have nothing against ANY of the Nightwish singers. I love Tarja because she sings like a siren. I love Anette because she’s the sweetheart of the three. Lastly, I love Floor because she has her own band and her voice, in the most basic sense, is like a combination of all the singers mentioned. But the reason why Anette is my favorite singer Nightwish had is because she tries/tried.And anyone who tries their best gets an A+ in my book.

I don't really understand the second one. Epica's name is based off of the album "Epica" by Kamelot. Are they sayng the album is going to sound epic because it's Epica's album? Explain.

I think they're referring to the fact that the new album is so epic. I don't think they meant that the album is how they got their name but how they're living up to it.
