in MS Sam had to come to terms with Dean's death (not that he came to terms all that well), so i guess this time is Dean's turn to come to terms with his responsibility..

What she's asking, Ketsia, is if the theme of Mystery Spot (the Trickster trying to teach Sam a lesson) was repeated in It's A Terrible Life only this time with Dean learning the lesson.

I agree, lucy- it's a wakeup call for Dean, just like the Trickster tried to give Sam a wakeup call in MS. But I don't think Sam learned much from the Trickster's lesson unfortunately. He didn't come to grips with Dean's death at all and after Dean's real death he was even worse than he was in MS!
Let's hope that Dean learned more from this experience than Sam did from the Trickster!

not at all!!!!!!! Dean didnt know who he was and Sam did the whole time during the mystery spot. dean cant know what it was like.

They both had lessons other wanted them to learn.
