Superman was created in 1938. Due to quickly becoming one of the most populaire characters in the history of comics, Superman was adapted into various films. This article is for looking over the Superman feature-length films. In addition to appearing in these films, Superman also appeared in a series of theatrical dessins animés in the 1940's. Also, George Reeves played Superman in a one-hour special called Superman and the môle, mole Men. The popularity of that theatrical special led to the Superman TV series. Superman Returns is a film that came out in June of 2006. The film, which starred Brandon Routh as Superman, was meant to lead to, at the very least, one sequel. That ended up not happening. The film did get decent reviews from critics, but fans have been divisé, split on it. While I can't say that the film is perfect, I can certainly say that it's a good film that's important to me.
