@StandupStalker was launched this week.

@StandupStalker is a twitter account which aims to follow every comedian on twitter, retweeting the funniest, most interesting bits, and cutting out the plugging.

For fans, it allows you to discover new comedians on twitter, but also to enjoy the one-liners, the funny commentary without a home feed full of ticket sales.

For comedians, it allows jokes to be broadcast to a wider audience, who may otherwise be unaware of your act and thus raising your profile. It is a better way of your jokes being credited, as opposed to being re-posted on internet joke sites.

The account is currently in the process of construction, but it is possible to follow StandupStalker. We are currently following just 250 comedians, but adding more all the time.
