Spyro The Dragon Question

For anyone who's ever played an of the Dragon...

Were toi afraid of the baleine in Evening Lake the first time toi ever played? I'm just curious, because I thought if it ate you, you'd get a game over ou something (back when I was around 9 and first started playing it). Then my friend had to do it for me and I felt like a complete idiot. xD

Really? It's probably my favori of the Spyro games. Of course, it's not too challenging now, but it was at the time.
