What is with the creepy sun and moon in Soul Eater?

Am I the only one who is curious as to why the sun and moon have extremely creepy facial expressions?

Usually, the son and moon represent something in the show. When the moon has blood in its mouth, it means someone is going to die ou someone will die. The sun laughs creepily when a fight scene will be near ou something twisted will come further in the episode. :) Hope this helps.

Basically:
Regular Moon: Normal
Grinning Moon (with the blood): Fight/Death Scene

Regular Sun: Normal
Laughing Sun: Fight/Death Scene

It's just a hint as to what is going to happen ou reflects on what has happened in the show.
