The crying hadn’t stopped for hours. A baby with an ear infection was no fun.
Y/N was walking around the kitchen, bouncing Grace up and down, trying to get the wails to stop.
“Baby, what do toi want?” I’ve done about everything I can,” Y/N almost pleads with the baby. “Mommy wants to sleep.”
I was suddenly aware of the fact the Y/N didn’t sleep at all last night.
I walk over to Y/N, and take the baby from her. “I got baby duty tonight.”
Crap.
I’m screwed.
“Are toi serious?” Y/N asks, eyes wide.
“Yeah,” I smile.
What am I doing? I l’amour Grace to death but…
“Ok I’m going to lit then.” She bolts from the room after giving me a quick Kiss on the cheek.
“This isn’t going to be bad,” I thought.
I look down at my crying baby. “Alright Gracey, ready for some daddy-daughter bonding time?”
The answer to my question is just plus sobs.
“Alrighty then.” I say, shifting her a bit.
“Should we watch some Sesame Street?” I ask.
In all honesty Sesame rue wasn’t that bad.
She just keeps crying.
“I’m going to assume that’s a yes.” I saw, grabbing her sippy cup and blanket on the way to the couch.
I turn on the TV, which already had the Sesame rue tape in it.
Kermit the Frog was on.
“See Gracey, toi l’amour Kermit, don’t toi baby?”
The wails keep coming.
“Why are there so many, songs about rainbows, and what’s on the other side.” Kermit the Frog sang.
“This is a good song…” I saw, looking down at the baby.
She just keeps on crying.
I decided I needed to entertain myself.
“Someday we’ll find it, the arc en ciel connection. The lovers, the dreamers, and me.” I sing along with the TV.
And the crying stops.
Grace looks up at me, sniffling, eyes wide.
So I keep singing. “All of us under its spell, we know that’s its probably magic.”
I finish out the song, watching her fall asleep.
I would l’amour to sing to my baby girl every night now because of this.

toi walked into the Curtis house and toi saw Ponyboy sitting there lire his book. "Hey Pony, are toi ready to read 'Gone with the wind?' " "Yeah hang on, salut Soda, can toi come here for a minute." toi and Ponyboy have been Friends for a couple days now and he promised he would montrer toi his favori book, and toi never knew he had a brother. "Hey Pony--" Soda walked in with no chemise on, only a towel. His jaw dropped and he blushed. "Hi, I'm Sodapop," "I'm Alex," toi couldn't stop looking into his beautiful eyes. Darry and Dally looked at (Y/N) from the couch. She was talking with Soda on the front porch, smiling, laughing at what he said. They both thought toi had a beautiful laugh, and that toi were completely adorable.
Darry was jealous of Soda, he thought he could take better care of you, provide a better life.
Dally thought he could protect toi more, and l’amour toi better.
Their hearts both broke as Soda leaned down to Kiss you.
