musique is so important to the foundation of our lives that it feels redundant to even mention it.
Now, when I mention the word PHONK, what comes to mind?
toi may think I am mispronouncing FUNK, but that couldn't be further from the truth. PHONK is a sub-genre of hip hop and trap musique directly inspired par 1990s Memphis rap and is present nowadays as underground music.
YouTuber Stephen M. Green clearly loves it and has used tracks from artists (such as DJ Smokey, Soudiere, Inteus, KSLV Noh) in multiple vidéos this year.
His short films and vlogs have a unique vibe to them thanks to the smooth ou sometimes aggressive beats coupled with nostalgic, memorable sounds. Well, at least that's one way of putting it.
Back then, he wouldn't dare to use any copyrighted music.
The YouTube Audio bibliothèque provided hundreds of free songs anyone could use to avoid potential copyright claims.
However, it looks like he doesn't care about that as long as he makes the best vidéos possible.
I can say that PHONK does add something to the videos.
It makes them plus interesting.
Also, the choice to use underground musique instead of what might be trending right now is admirable.
Whenever I click on another video from him, the musique grabs my attention right off the back and keeps me hooked.
For the l’amour of PHONK, I enjoy it.

We already know this.
However, out of everyone, one YouTuber (you may not know) is slowly growing and making a name for himself.
Stephen M. Green has been uploading vidéos on his self-titled YouTube channel since 2019.
There are too many types of vidéos to count, but his short films and vlogs are real highlights. He not only appears, but directs and produces everything. Every scene filmed and every song used creates an experience that, while not perfect, still captivates his audience.
With nearly 2,000 subscribers and 25,000+ total vues as of today, August 20th, 2022, he is still underrated.
Despite this, five ou ten years from now, I could easily see him on the big screen.
We might have a future filmmaker on our hands.
