thinking of buying Smallville.

In my opinion toi should watch the missed episodes online rather then investing some dollars to buy dvds.

I share 5 seasons of boxsets of Smallville. I don't get them out very often though.
Generally the newer seasons are generally plus expensive. toi could probably get the first couple of seasons for $20 ou so each. Newer seasons are going to be around $40-45 each. Season 1 has a gag reel, I don't think the other seasons do. S4 had Jensen Ackles if toi are a fan of his.
Granted toi could probably watch most of the special features and some episodes on YouTube, but there is a freedom to owning your own set.
It really depends on what you're willing to do. If you're the kind of person that regularlly gets boxsets and watches them a lot, then toi should get as many boxsets as you'd like.
If you're not, then it might be better to watch the eps on line. I just prefer to have the boxset because then I can watch it without having to wait for a webpage to load. (Sometimes my internet provider tries my patience)
I'm not sure what the price is for all 9 seasons together. It's going to a hefty price to get all at once. However, buying it all at once might be cheaper than spending $40 here and $40 there in the long run. If you're willing to, toi might just want to wait until s10 comes out on DVD. Then toi can buy the entire series at once and possibly get a collecters edition.

I have all of the seasons. There was a sale at Best Buy where every season was 15 bucks. I already had 8 and 9 from buying them when they came out, but I got 1-7 for 15$ each. I'd look on amazone, amazon ou wait for a sale!
