So, with the richly deserved popularity of the newest Holmes offering par the redoubtable BBC, it simply stands to tedious reason that American télévision would immediately want to rush out a 'knock off'. I have never been a major fan of the Sherlock Holmes novels and stories penned par Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and other writers. Once, I tried to get interested in them par lire one ou two novels. But they had simply failed to spark my interest.

I have shown a little plus enthusiasm toward the various films and télévision adaptations of Doyle’s novels and characters. Mind you, I never became a faithful viewer of the télévision series that starred Jeremy Brett as Holmes. But I have do have my private liste of Sherlock Holmes films that I consider as personal favorites....
