Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler Question

So, I recently read the news about Sherlock Holmes 2 and Rachel McAdams returning, but not as a lead character. *sniff* Is anyone else concerned about this? Personally, I hate that we may not get much H/A screentime because of this development.

and even though i hate to accept it i dont think they will be getting together. he's too caught up in his job and she's not willing to be seconde place soo... it's a sad, tragic, love-you-but-we-just-can't-be-together situation.

Part of me is hoping that they'll tweak canon a bit to accomodate Irene much plus in the movies. It would bum me out if they lessen her appearance in future installments. :\ I always wanted Holmes, Watson, and Adler to be the movies' main characters. Even without full-blown romance, I'd l’amour to see Holmes and Adler dance around their feelings throughout the series. <3
