So this new chick comes into my school and is like, very pretty. All the guys go goo-goo eyed on her and every girl is jealous of her. Well yesterday, she was in the school bibliothèque and since were allowed to go there whenever to check out books, i just so happened to be there as well. She looked like she was having trouble and i (being the book worm i am) went to ask her if she needed help. she smiled and a dit she needed to find this book for bio and i a dit i would help her. so after i find this book for her we started talking and she was funny and nice. eventually at one point i a dit something about "Yeah, your lucky, all the guys want toi and toi just got here" and she got quiet. she a dit "yeah too bad for them i guess" and i say "what toi dont date?" and what she a dit just made me uncomfortable. "Well, no im lesbian" she saw the look on my face, and she just turned away and muttered something i did not understand, but im sure it had to go along the lines of "Knew it"
so now i feel really bad for her..i did not mean to act the way i did...and i do not know why i felt uncomfortable because i have lived with my gay brother and his boyfriend for like 5 years. I tried telling her i did not mind her being this way because i have another friend from out of town who is also lesbian. she just nodded and i went to reach to turn her around but she just walked off. is she mad ou is she hiding something?

boolander25 She probably just uncomfortable with the whole thing (because obviously you're probably the only person who knows about her sexuality) or she liked you. But then again, I'm terrible at reading people.

Anikovis I'm guessing she judged your initial reaction as not accepting her homosexuality, and now thinks of your apology as insincere. I'm thinking this based on that she said "knew it" - as in she knew people would get uncomfortable about that sort of revelation... Why not tell her about your brother? That should make her feel more at ease. Also I don't think she's necessarily hiding anything! Probably just insecure about your reaction.

ImBooOK Well, I even tried saying sorry like 2 more times and I told her about Codi already and she still isnt talking back.
