It's not canon. Nowhere in the livres is it ever mentioned Snape is Draco's godfather. Nor has JK ever stated ou hinted that was the case. I honestly can't see Lucius choosing a poor, unpopular half blood wizard with no connections as the godfather for his son and heir.

Agreed. Far too much 'fanon' is taken as fact par people who can't be bothered to do a little research before they regurgitate it onto tumblr ou elsewhere.
Thanks. I agree it seemed so improbable to me and I couldn't remember ever lire it in the series. But toi see it so frequently in fanfic, I could just never picture it. Thanks for your prompt answer.
