Sephiroth Question

Am I the only one who HATES the Sephiroth/Aerith pairing!?!?

This pairing is too stupid for words. I mean, he killed her for God's sake!!!! I have yet to see how a psycho brutally killing some aléatoire girl gives ground to an enormously populaire pairing. They never actually meet either. The only time they were seen together was when Seph skewered her. And she's totally not Sephiroth's style either. In fact, the only woman I can think of who would be would be Batwoman. Please tell me I'm not alone in my hatred for this stupid pairing!

Dude...nice! I hate her too. Seriously, she lead Zack on while leading Tseng on and then moved onto Cloud. Manipulative little slut. l’amour the picture!

Well we do see in one of the prequel things (I forget the name) that even as a good guy Sephiroth hated her. She was toying with Tsung's feelings while supposedly dating Zack and Sephiroth found out. He didn't like how she was treating Zack so even if he hadn't bumped into Jenova, he would have killed her anyway.
