'Once Upon a Time' Season 4 Spoilers: Regina 'Furthering' Her Pursuit Of Happiness & Search For The Author [VIDEO]

\'Once Upon a Time\'s Zelena Returning For Flashback Sequences In Second Half of Season 4?

returns for season 4B, Regina will be continuing her quest to find The Author. While the show is jumping forward six weeks by the time the midseason premiere rolls around, co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have assured that fans won\'t be missing much from the core characters, including Regina.

recently, saying that there won\'t be a huge time jump like they\'ve previously done.

"Rather than dealing with the direct aftermath of 4A, we\'re instead letting the characters grow from that so they can prepare for what they\'re about to experience," Horowitz added. "And when a new event occurs at the start of the season you\'ll see that they\'re all once again thrown into turmoil and there\'s a lot to deal with and we\'re really interested in seeing it play out."

Ultimately, Kitsis said that the second half of the season is really about the pursuit of happiness, particularly for Regina.

"The [storylines] that we were teasing in the first half [of season four] with the book and the author is really going to be in this front and center of this second half," he said. "We are really going to be furthering with Regina on her pursuit of a happy ending."

Here\'s hoping that Regina will finally get a taste of true happiness by season\'s end.

season 4 returns on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
