Warner Bros. had already nabbed North American rights to director Shane Black's high-profile project

Alex Walton and Ken Kao's new sales and financing company, Bloom, has all but sold out of
internationally. Foreign distributors were eager to get in on the high-profile project, from Kao's production company, Waypoint Entertainment, and Joel Silver's Silver Pictures.
Warner Bros. has already scooped up North American rights, and will release the detective thriller in the U.S. on June 17, 2016, a prime summer berth.
stars Gosling as down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March and Crowe as hired leg-breaker Jackson Healy. The duo must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.

Bloom first launched the project to foreign buyers at the Toronto Film Festival and has finished up sales at the American Film Market, currently underway in Santa Monica. Waypoint is co-financing the film, while Bloom is handling international sales.
