Roger has added Perth to his Australisn tour dates and will perform The Who’s rock opera 'Tommy', plus Who classics and more, with his band at the Riverside Theatre in Perth on Thursday, April 19.

‘Tommy’ tells the story of a deaf, dumb and blind boy who overcomes his handicaps to become the Pinball Wizard.

The first ever stage production of the work was done par the Seattle Opera in 1971. In 1972, Lou Reizner recreated a concert version backed par the Londres Symphony Orchestra with an ensemble featuring Rod Stewart, Steve Winwood and Ringo Starr. In 1975, director Ken Russell made the movie of the rock opera, featuring Tina Turner, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Jack Nicholson and Roger Daltrey.

Tickets for the Perth show, presented par Chugg Entertainment and Noise11.com, will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, April 19 at TICKETEK.
