Should I read The Hunger Games

I just finished the first book (The Hunger Games) and I loved it. It's not completely unpredictable; sometimes (at least for me) toi could kind-of guess where things were going, but other times, something completely takes toi par suprise. It does have a few sub-plots, and a few twists. But, there are a few points in the book where it gets a little graphic. Suzanne Collins doesn't get into great detail about it, it's just where toi picture in your head, and the only thought toi have is "Ew." I'm in my teens, and I loved the Hunger Games so much that I read it in one day, and the suivant jour I went and bought the rest of the trilogy for my Kindle. (Catching feu and Mockingjay) So, I'd say yes. It's nothing like Twilight, I promise. (I hated it, too.) Hope this helps!

I read all three when I was 11! (I am 11) It's a great trioligy! maybe just check out the first book from a bibliothèque first and start reading!

I HIGHLY reccommend The Hunger Games. LOL, I read the first 2 livres in the same night it was so good! It has an amazing plot, and you're sure to be blown away par the twists in the book. This series is one of my personal favorites, and I can assure toi I have read many livres in my lifetime.

I was told it was really good series. I haven't read it yet, I will after I'm done with Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

I loved the Hunger Games. It's very different from Twilight (which is good, I couldn't stand the Twilight livres either), and there are many sub-plots and twists. I must warn you, they can be rather, er, violent. But they really are great books, and I'd highly recommend them :)

Well,first let me congratulate for your good taste on hating Twilight! I don't like it either and I absolutely loved the Hunger Games! I think toi would really like it, so yes, I think toi should read it. :)

Definately. The Hunger Games are amazing. I've donné the livres to adults, younger kids, teens my age, everyone I gave them to loved them. And good job for hating Twilight.

I would suggest the Trilogy to anyone; being 11, some scenes and/or chapters might seem a bit graphic, but the series is phenominal, and truly a great and exciting read. With twists and turns every chapter, you'll find that toi won't want to put the book down. Cannot WAIT for the movie! March 23, 2012. <3

Well I hated Twilight too but I thought the Hunger Games was really good. Not the best most amazing book I've ever read but Suzanne Collins is a good auteur so it was a good series. I'd recommend it. I didn't like the dumb l’amour triangle, it was a little too ridiculous and Twilight-like.

First off,I can't blame toi for hating Twilight.A lot of people do.I loved it personally,but that's just me.Anyways,you should totally read the Hunger Games,along with the rest of the series.They're all great books. :-)P.S: the movie sucks(the Hunger Games)

I personally don't think Hunger Games is for 11 an old's but go for it! It's pretty good and interesting. Sort of Twilight like but not so much.

Well I wouldn't reccomend it for an 11 an old. In my opinion you're a little too young for it. Maybe for 13+...
