There is a correlation between two ordeals.
Kaorinite: Having stolen many heart crystals (as well as Usagi's transformation brooch), Kaorinite also destroys the TV Tower that (Sailor Moon states) delivers fun TV Shows across Japan. However, she is put to an end with help from Sailor Uranus (who delivers the final blow to Kaori).
Ice Dancers: Having cheated their ways to victory (Outback, Siberia and Argentina), they also played a part in causing casualties in other teams (their "accident" caused Sanders to break her arm; sabotaging the Sisters also sent the Best Friends home). However, they were taken out of the race by a "flat tire", meaning that this mishap caused them to lose time and get eliminated in the hands of the Police Cadets.
