I LOVE anime. I don't mind if people don't like it I just don't like it when they insult anime fans.

90% of the shows I watch are anime XD I love it~

I don't really watch that much anime. There's just a lot and most of them have more than 200 episodes. I do watch some Inuyasha, Pokemon, Digimon, FMA, Naruto, and Case Closed/Conan.

I don't get the hype.

These shows are all great but I suggest you watch something beyond the action/shonene thing and watch something like a phycological thriller (Future Diaries) or a tear jerking romance (Clannad)
There is SO MUCH more to anime than just that.

Never heard of these anime vik. I'm not much into romance.
And yeah, I know there's a lot more to anime than those.
Too much actually. I can't watch that much.
I have pretty short attention span. I never noticed they were all action.
All I know is, so far I didn't really care for Bleach and Death Note.

Love it. I used to watch a lot of of Shounen, or adventure-style anime, but I have been getting into a lot of different genres lately. Psychological anime, like Gantz and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni really interested me when I watched them. Slice of life are also becoming something I more regularly indulge in... my favorite being K-On and I also really liked Usagi Drop, Love Live! School Idol Project and Mahoraba: Heartful Days. Plus, I just started watching an interesting shoujo called Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live... one might expect that it would be something girls would be more interested in than guys, but I liked it.

@EgoMouse. If you have a short attention span, then you could always try out some shorter anime series, like Angel Beats, or Cowboy Bebop... both are good anime. You never know, you may like them, or you may not. xD

Cowboy Bebop was pretty alright. I used to watch it whenever it came on [adult swim].
Actually, Fooly Cooly was pretty awesome. It was the shortest anime ever, but it was awesome. If I was to say whats my type of anime, it would be Fooly Cooly I guess. Stuff like Fruit Basket is pretty weird, but I still watched it anyways. Code Geass is good too.
Story is cool, but characters usually grab me first. Usually male characters, its easier to relate. Kakashi is probably the main reason I watch Naruto, plus the humor and action and feels. I did really like the first episode of Naruto (which had no Kakashi). I was practically saying Naruto was the best anime ever just by the first episode xD
...I'm not sure why people are recommending anime shows to me, but anything with humor, action, coolness factor, not too much fangirly moments, and stuff like that works with me. Erm...I don't watch hentai or yaoi. I did like maybe two, I guess, but a person can only be horny for so long before ditching the anime ;P

^ Heh, fair enough. I don't know why, I just decided to recommend those two for no reason in particular. I think it's just because I'm an anime fiend, so I don't mind recommending any to people.
